hey hey,
thanks everyone for your kind words, thoughts and prayers, my family and i appreciate them. it is hard, i am still kind of in disbelief that he won't be coming here this summer, and things like that, but i suppose with time, that gets easier?
on a lighter note, the rest of saturday was spent with my family, then i did end up going to the sex toy party with sharla and colleen. you may think i'm sacreligious (sp?) because of that, but honestly i needed to get my mind off of everything, and what better to do that but a sex toy party?! lol. i had been to one before, but had only stayed part of it, this time i stayed the entire time. very interesting, but it was definitely funny. anyway, it is none of your business if i bought anything, but if you ask, i'll probably tell you. anyway, it was a good time.
on sunday, i slept in, then made a list of things i needed to buy at the store, as well as go through rachael ray's cookbook, and watch wedding crashers. later i took it over to my parents house and listened to my mom tell me that my dad and his bff used to do that when they were bachelors. AWESOME! (well not weddings, but they used to "crash" really big parties...my dad rules!) on my way home from my parents i stopped by bundy's to talk about some wedding stuff, very fun. so i've taken it upon myself to try to organize all that. :) at home, i began my first under 30 minute meal with rachael ray, i made a tortellini, artichoke, spinach and mushroom soup. just call me a chef. it was really good, i could probably have added more broth or seasoning, but alas, yum!
i got a few phone calls last night that made me smile, heart!
shawna and sharla are in hawaii, boo! so jealous!!
so is anyone else surprised that vince young took his NFL pro status this year? is anyone excited that he decided to go help some other team while gaining millions and millions of dollars instead of being humble and staying one more year at his alma mater (granted, he may have gotten hurt)? [i guess one national championship is enough] are there any UT fans out there who are a little worried for their team next year? ....i mean, i'm just saying. ;) (yes i'm a trash talker) your thoughts?
tonight, i would be perfectly content with eating some soup and watching some tv and just chilling out...maybe going to work out. you know i'm trying this whole, don't drink sodas thing and i've cut down from a soda a day to like 2 sodas a week, i've already lost like 2 lbs, it's amazing. now, to get to the gym ;)
