how are y'all? i love these 4 days weeks! (except i think tomorrow is friday), but it's already wednesday and friday is a half day for me! so i'm ready! tonight i'm gonna do some laundry and tomorrow night be packin'. the only problem with 4 day weeks is that i feel like i'm about to overbook myself. if ASSILON would call me back i could see her and boyfriend, and thursday i'm supposed to go look at bridesmaid dresses with bundy (+carosa?) and i think i made a big deal about eating dinner with shawna this week? (sorry friend). maybe when i actually have my act together.
so yesterday i worked through lunch and around 2.30 i met bundy at a bridal shop to help her look at wedding dresses, it is so fun, and the dresses are so pretty, i felt a little out of place looking at them all while i was waiting for her, but i secretly DID try on some tiaras (yes, i probably will wear one of those one day when it comes around). i took some pictures of her and left an hour later (that was short!), she said she has 2 choices and i think she already really chose the one she wanted. it is so beautiful!
my mom called me later to say that my brother was in town for the night (he's a pilot so he makes pit stops) so we were going to go to dinner if i wanted to go, well of course. so after work, i stopped by barton creek to return my 1st NYE top (thank goodness $63 later) and a gift that i ended up not giving. i also took a detour into victorias secret, but i wasn't really in the mood to fight people for the semi annual sale. you know what cracks me up about this mall is that there didn't used to be a bench right outside VS, but i guess with all the guys who have to hang out waiting for their wives or gfs, they built one. this is funny to me.
so i met my fam at Hut's hamburgers, apparently they have the "best burgers in town". best burgers sure, but it took almost an hour to MAKE that "best burger". i got an Archie, it was jack chedder, guac, bacon and lettuce. so good! we also all splurged (yes, even me) and got chocolate shakes/malts. awesome. my brother talked about his kids and how my niece is such a little tomboy and won't wear anything but ripped jeans and baggy shirts (she's 10) and chase won't ski worth anything (he's 7). whatever, kids. i guess i'm learning from my siblings how NOT to raise my kids in certain ways.
after dinner, i went to the arboretum B&N in search of my hero's cookbook and i FOUND IT! it was the "last one". don't worry, you'll be invited to dinner soon ;)

i also went on a last minute excursion to VS to find the "perfect strapless bra", which is quite a feat, isn't it ladies? 30 mins, 3 bras, 1 measuring and 1 strap fiasco later, i was leaving the store with a Very Sexy Plunge strapless bra and new underwear (oops). oh well, i'm sure it will be worth it someday. on behalf of brad and jenni, i gave a "peace out" to each store in your memory.
today i'm workin', trying to solve some issues that no one is helping me with and finishing up some projects. awesome.
