so whats up kids? this weekend has once again gone by too quickly, but let me go back to friday...
friday i finished! the ecard! it's done, except for some minor heading translations which should take me an hour at the most to edit...i am DONE...and also to collect the donation money, which, as long as it doesn't have to do with editing the thing...so yes i complained about it, but have i forgotten that the ecard is for a good cause? as it turns out, the more cards we send out the more money is collected and that goes towards helping get clean water in africa...so, despite the turmoil, it is ok! :)
brad called me friday as i was about to leave work to tell me he got fired....for his blog. he told me to be careful. brad, i'm sorry you got fired. that sucks, but i still love you. maybe you can be the next e! true hollywood story...i hear kidd kraddick needs a new sidekick, "young-sounding"....please, please, PLEASE put in for that! you would be awesome!!
i met my parents for dinner on friday, yum! then my mom and i went shopping. i got a gift for myself...well my parents gift to myself, so i have something to open on xmas morning. so nice! i decided to wear black pants and a hot top for NYE b/c i figured i will probably be getting low on more than one occasion and considering i'll be pretty drunk, i don't want to flash everyone 'til kingdom come. so that's my next shopping excursion.
saturday i slept in, and woke up with a super sinus headache. boo. my dad came over and fixed my heat!! sooo excited, i no longer have to worry about freezing to death or having to cut off my toes due to frostbite. of course, now my bill will be higher, but whatever. speaking of "merry christmas to me", i got my tax bill sat. morning...ehhh...damn school taxes, i dont' even LIKE kids...why must i pay this? anyways, so although i had some money put aside for that, it's not going to be enough, looks like after nye i'll have to start not eating. awesome. i tried to go to the mall b/c i got the wrong makeup, but when i turned into the parking lots and saw people parking on the grass and across the street, i peaced out and went to shawna's (i forgot it was the last shopping weekend before xmas) oops, i have no xmas gifts!
we watched some sportsnight and then headed out to see the family stone. i was ready for a comedy, not to ruin this movie and i won't, but i don't think you should be fooled. it was marketed as a comedy and i left the theater crying. so i just don't want anyone else to be duped. about this time, i started to acquire a migraine, as well as not feeling awesome. we went to trudys' to celebrate my work project being over and i ended up being a party pooper, i couldn't even eat my meal i felt so sick. boo. so i came home quickly, ended up getting sick and was in bed by 10.30. i suck.
this morning, i woke up, chilled out, then went to walmart to get my car worked on. it took for-ev-er. but i guess it's all ready to go to houston now! i keep thinking NYE is next weekend....but wait, xmas is first...oh..is it bad that i'm more excited to celebrate with my girls on NYE than xmas? :-/ now i'm doing laundry and watching alice in wonderland...fun, i guess i'll make some dinner soon and maybe vacuum.
so the next 2 weeks should be good work weeks, i am no longer stressed out! :) now i can finally catch up on the projects that need my dire attention and my boss might even be working some from home, what a great way to end the year!!
