so yesterday morning, before i decided to leave to work, i went outside to see how the ice had melted on my driveway. well, apparently i stepped on an icy spot because as i put one foot down and then the other, imagine my right leg continually slipping on the ice and if i had moved my left anymore i would have slid right down my driveway...i felt very stuck, imagine being in a side lunge, and my only option was to CRAWL up the driveway, so here i am, pulling myself with my hands up my driveway when i look over and there's my neighbor in his truck..."hi neighbor, glad we could finally meet." well once i got up i ran back in my driveway...boo. anyway, everyone i tell this person too has burst into laughter and can't stop (mom, carosa, etc.) carosa asked me, "did he see you?" i was like "yes!" *LAUGH LAUGH x10* glad i can be entertaining.
so i left for work around 11, and it took me over an hour to get there. but i HAD to come in. i'm thinking about petitioning for a laptop, ...for all our ice storms we have. i mean, but at least i can work from home! anyway, i had stuff to take care of. i left around 5ish b/c i heard the roads might ice up again, and i was going to my parents too. so i drove home (best. rush hour traffic. ever.) - 35 mins. i threw my stuff in a suitcase, packed up jones and off we went. i was supposed to go to the saved by the bell thing with shawna, sharla and vincent, but b/c of unsure road conditions, i had to peace out. boo. i tried to get a refund, but i couldn't get a real person to talk to. boooo.
tonight, i'm giving jones back. and he's going back to his foster home, so don't worry, it's not a shelter. i told my mom it was like dating, now i know what i'm looking for in a dog. lol. wow, i had a lot of laughs yesterday. my mom and i are off for a fun filled weekend in SA. i brought what i thought were my brown flip flops, but it was more like one brown and one black. awesome. so i've been eating just enough this week, so that this weekend i can binge on mexican food and not feel bad! i'm so excited!! and i want to go shopping...with what money? i don't know...but i'll figure it out.
