lunch with bundy yesterday was so fun! and good! yay einsteins bagels! she gave me the imogen heap cd for part of my xmas gift, i haven't listened to it yet, but i hear good things. i came back, did my work, then headed off on a mission: find shoes, accessories and the rest of my xmas gifts...what did i end up with? a 'maybe' accessory and most, if not, all of my xmas gifts...yessss.
i spent over an hour in kohls, and i barely bought anything, boo. but THEN i made my purchase of the evening/year, etc. i finally bought a CHI. yes, my friends, i am in with the big kids, i've waited 2 years for this bad boy, and i finally can have straight-er hair without having to wait for my iron to reheat (which my old one did). my hair looks so fabby today (new word, make it happen....i don't want it to end up like 'fetch' ;) )
i came home, ate, watched some SaTC, love that show! then i started to pack for this weekend, i wasn't really going to take my actual "suitcase" but when i realized i would be away from my house from thurs-monday, i figured it was necessary.
so i'm starting to get some projects for work that i can work on next week. this is a positive thing because i'll be all by my lonesome. does everyone else think it's weird that i don't get friday off? ok, i don't care, but everyone i talk to thinks it's ridiculous. whatever. i'm leaving early.
i'll blog tomorrow but will probably be out of commission for the weekend...i may have access to a computer...but maybe an update on monday with pictures and all sorts of other goodies will be better?
tonight i'm going to the trail of lights with some people, i'm so excited! getting to spin under the tree and get hot cocoa, and take lots of pictures!! yay for digi! yes, i call my electronics by their names, my ipod gets called "ipod" as in, "i'm sorry, ipod" and the camera i called "digi".
