hey hey,
it's new years eve eve! ;)
yesterday my mom came and we had lunch at our favorite mediterranean place! yum! sooo good! work sped by and then i went to meet bundy to try on some bridesmaid dresses, that was quite a feat. jumping in and out of dresses and modeling them, exciting to say the least...and out of like 15, we rejected 2...awesome, 13 left ...lol. so we took lots of pictures and i'm fixing those right now.
on the way home, my mom called me and said she was coming over to help me hang some stuff up, have dinner and stay the night. AT home, baby's daddy called and asked what i was doing. i told him straight out my mom was coming over and staying, he told me that's what he was going to do. i told him no. i was busy. thanks for playing, try again. boo. (i haven't talked to him since the LAST entry about him in the mall...what was that like over a week ago? whatever. i'm not THAT easy.)
so my mom came over and made dinner and then we proceeded to hang things...well she did. i watched, directed, packed and took a bath. we were going to put my IKEA mirror over the fireplace but after much measuring struggling and pencil marks and laughing, i decided wouldn't it be better to change the shape and put in a hallway? voila! done! thanks mom!
now i'm at work, i'm leaving soon. i'm sort of counting down the hours, boo. i hate being like that. i'm just excited for this little break away with the singletons, ready to ring the new year in with style...it's perfect, i've got 5 bottles of liquor, 8 shot glasses, 2 shakers and a big bottle of aspirin. done. i've got a little project to do before i leave hopefully i can get that done.
here are some new years resolutions:
1. think long and hard about those pilates and abs classes the gym offers and go sometime
2. try to keep in touch with old friends and new friends
3. figure out what i want in a significant other
4. stop wasting my kisses on the ones that don't matter
5. try to make a budget in such a way that i can go to vegas, be a good bridesmaid and NYC this year.
