i know, i'm way behind. i've been out of town for awhile, and it was a GREAT weekend, so relaxing and fun!! great times with the girlies!
friday i left work as a half day and drove down to houston, i made pretty decent time and met shea at her apartment, l*bo showed up soon after and we went to get our nails done. yay! sooo good! we had a little ticket fiasco but it turned out ok in the end. we went to the galleria to run a quick errand, then i went back to change and my buddy joe came to pick me up for dinner. we ate at pappadeaux (yessss!) and then drove around for awhile. we went to the volcano for a drink while we waited for his friends to come into town. they finally did and we went to this little club called blanco's, it's like the broken spoke here in austin. i didn't understand why we went b/c it was a two-step club and we were just sitting and talking, but whatever. i got home pretty early (like 11.30) and went straight to sleep.
saturday, i heard shea talking around 8.30 (ahh early!) and so we chatted for a bit, then got ready for the day. we had to drop something off at her boyf's house and i finally got to meet matt! (i like him sheavon) and then we went to eat some greek food. we went to run some errands after that, (mall, grocery store, etc) and then went back to the apt. we waited for l*bo, then l*bo and i left for the hotel, i guess around 3 or so. we set up in our room and then met manuel, adrian and celita in adrian and celita's room and started the party early...finally everyone showed up (shea and matt, carosa and gary) and we went to dinner. i think i was already drunk, i told shea that l*bo had told me i had to stop being ridiculous, she asked me if i was drunk, i said. yes. oh well.

after dinner, we went back to the hotel and got ready. around 9 i guess, we made our way back to adrian and celita's for the pre-party, very fun. i think total we had about 12 or so people with us.

then we (well maybe just i did) stumbled to the mercury room, here is what i have heard about this evening:
*i dropped my 2nd (and last) beer of the night -- sorry manuel
*there were 2-3 different countdowns ??
*shea's shirt fell down (HOT!) lol
*i cried uncontrollably on shea's shoulder for about 5 minutes until "my humps" came on (for no good reason, don't ask me why i cried bc i. don't. know.) -- great, now i'm sad drunk girl
*despite the fact that people were trying to make me stop being ridiculous, shea gave me another shot (thanks friend :) )
*"golddigger" WAS played.
*we had a sock hop--damn shoes
*my friends, carosa and gary, made sure i got home *heart*
*i drunk dialed kitch, jenni and dooger, who were all good sports about it (thanks guys)
*i didn't kiss anyone at midnight, which is surprisingly ok with me, i rang in '06 with little memory but no shame
*i divulged some secrets to l*bo...ooops
all in all it was sooo fun!!! i may only remember bits and pieces, but i am so glad i went.

sunday, i didn't wake up feeling as bad as i thought, just a small headache. for as much as i don't remember, i think that wasn't too shabby. then l*bo, me, shea, manuel, gary and carosa went to eat at chuy's. yummm fat food! love it! then shea, l*bo and i went back to shea's apt just to crash and talk. eventually we left the apt to eat at le madeleine and watch brokeback mountain (which both jenni and manuel veto-ed..boo!) it ended up being sold out, so we rented 40-year old virgin instead. "you know how i know you're gay?" it wasn't my favorite of all the ones but it was still funny.
monday, woke up, got ready, ate lunch with shea and then drove back. when i got back, dooger came by for a little bit. i think it's been like over a year, probably more since i've seen him, so that was good and watched some football and part of must love dogs. then i went to my parents house for some food and watched some tv with mom and came home. i was so tired. boo.
i think today i'm going to my new phone with my dad, sooo excited! finally!
so that was my weekend, i feel so incredibly refreshed and ready to be back at work...funny, huh? yeah.
this weekend, we're doing bridesmaids stuff, should be fun!
oh and blast from the past, my mom was downtown and saw my old college roommate!! awww, heart! i gave her a call last night and we're gonna hang out sometime soon.
