sooo...after work last night, i met my parents at chili's...which would have been fun if my mom didn't act like she was in a hurry and we actually had decent service...they sucked, like bad. i got boneless buffalo wings though, yum-o. always a success! i convinced my dad to not go to the baylor/ou game on sat for several reasons:
1. it's 2 hours away
2. tickets are $37
3. we're going to lose
4. it's on tv. done.
after dinner, i went browsing around old navy and then went to the gym, apparently the shin splints are here to stay, looks like i'll be biking and elliptical-ing for a pretty long time, which means i haven't run in 2 weeks, which means, my training schedule is off, which MEANS, no half-marathon...:( i really really wanted to do it, like it was a self-made goal, so i'm a little sad :( on the brightside, if i don't go to the gym one day because i wnated to see my friends instead, i won't feel so guilty. :) then i went to the grocery store to pick up ingrediants for green bean casserole, i went to walmart to buy these disposable baking dishes...and they looked really small so i made 2 casseroles...i made them last night and then baked them both this morning..in an hour and STILL managed to get ready and leave in time...yay me! ..my boss managed to forget her dish so she had to go to whole foods to get something. boo.
so i don't know if i've mentioned the fact that there is some shadyness going on at our office...i probably can't go into too many details on here, but...basically someone left and there were a lot of important people here being secretive and they've re-keyed and re-coded the entire office...(note: they don't do that when just ANYONE leaves fyi....) anyways...sha-dy.
so yesterday i mentioned the 100 sexiest men alive from People magazine...some i whole-heartedly agree with...aka johnny depp, jake gyllenhall, mcdreamy, george clooney, vince vaughn, taye diggs, jim from the office! (yay!) etc...others? like k-fed? or usher (still? really) KFED?!, borat? (ok the man is funny, but borat..no, not sexy...sexytime? haha) REALLY. boo. c'mon people, i think they ran out of men. haha.
anyways, i'm very excited to start thanksgiving a week early!!! i get to eat like a little piglet and i don't care. :) yay turkey day!!
