bon suir...but it's not nighttime yet!

sorry this is a little delayed, i have 2 days to catch up on and maybe add some pictures!
on tuesday, chris decided to take the afternoon off from class and when he told me that i was just meandering through paris streets, it was so cold and rainy but i didn't want ot be lame and stay inside all day. so i met him at the metro by his house and we decided to go on a riverboat ride, haha. it wasnt that crowded as you can imagine and most of it is covered plus you get to see a lot of the city so we went. we missed the first one by like 1 min so we bought our tickets, went to have a snack and then came back. chris thought it would be a good idea to stand OUTSIDE in the rain and cold! at first this was all fine and i was seeing a lot of sights but as the wind picked up and the constant rain /drizzle wouldnt' stop i was getting grumpy! haha. i mean i'm in paris, but i'm cold, boo! so after awhile i sat inside the nice warm boat and he kept running from one side to another to take pictures of things. what a trooper. after the boat ride, we came back and changed adn went over to his friend's house to have some drinks since they didnt' have class on weds. note to self: not much food during the day and then eating a ham and cheese crepe before consuming x amount of beers, does not equal for a happy rena the next morning.
around 5 or 6am i guess? i don't know, my head was hurting and my stomach and i ended up getting really sick ("24 hour bug") haha. chris was really worried about me so he went to get me some medicine and 7up and bread. it sucked b/c weds was his day off but he was a good sport about it. i finally started feeling better around 3pm and showered and set off around the city. first he took me to the shopping district which has like H&M in it and other "cheap" stores like that, then we walked to the place bastille and had some tea and coffee, then walked around to notre dame and then took the metro to rent a video and get some sushi.
i ended up walking almost 6 miles after having the "12" hour bug haha. anyways i feel 50x better today and have already waken up before noon, had lunch with chris, showered and am now getting ready to go to the lourve and get souvenirs! wheee....hopefully i won't find a french stalker this time.
