ok so everyone's like WHERE IS YOUR BLOG? i know i know, but i'ma bout to leave work for awhile and i'm trying to do that stuff too! AHHHHHHH
so the birthday celebration weekend was a success above all. on friday, i went to chris' parents house to pick up something he sent home with his mom for me, it was a very cute pink tanktop, his parents also gave me my birthday present which was a bunch of serving dishes, etc. YAY! now i can have real dinner parties! after that i met up with l*bo for dinner at chili's, they messed up my order, boo! but they fixed it, we ate, and then went home. fargie arrived and lbo and i started to get ready. shea and kel arrived shortly after that and when we were all ready, fargie, lbo, shea, kel, ce, gary and i went out downtown. we started at firehouse and met up with shawna, who was with cynthia and a girl who iv'e probably met 50x and don't remember her name, boo me. i got a guy to buy me a shot and he bought two, one for me and shawna, heart! after firehouse we went to cuba libre, and then went to vicci. no cover! and danced a lot. this weird guy asked me to dance when i went up to the dancefloor looking for people and i was lost. boo. we stopped at whataburger on the way home, wheeeeee
on saturday, we woke up and ran errands, then started getting ready for the party, i think i kept saying it was kind of lame, but in the end i realized i had all of my closest friends with me on my birthday and i couldn't ask for more than that!! i had friends from 5th grade on upto ones i had made a year ago, it was awesome. casino night sure was a bust though, maybe another night.
on sunday, it took me pretty much all day to recover, literally. i went over to my parents after everyone left and i got my ipod shuffle! yay! it's pretty and pink!!! :) i watched the oscars too, not much surprise there, except maybe alan arkin, but i like little miss sunshine, so yay! anyway, i was very excited about the departed b/c i thought it was the best movie i saw all year and written incredibly well. not a big fan of jack nicholson's lack of hair but i hear it's for a new movie, so i'm all for a new jack movie, yay!
anyways that's it! all week iv'e been running around trying to get things taken care of for my trip, i still have a small list of things to do...yay! i just bought my walking shoes right now, how exciting!!
so last night on american idol. i pretty much think a girl is going to win this year, i still have my favorite guys:

*chris richardson (STOP BEING JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE), i just think he's fun
*blake lewis (i thought he was good and i love jamiroquai, that song is like so 10 years ago haha)
*nick pedro
i really had high hopes for brandon rogers (hi shawna), but i think he's way better than his song, i was so bored by his stand still version of "time after time", dude, do you WANT to go home? you're better than that.
i'm pretty sure sanjaya is peacing out, and jared cotter and that aj kid, i don't even remember them from last week.
i WANT to like chris sligh and sundance guy but i just haven't warmed up to them. oh well.
i went to the mall last night and shaft and tatiana met up with me there, uhhhh, i bought a cute sweater, a blouse for work in london and some jeans...uhh, and underwear, i'm so glad shaft was a part of that! wtf? anyways, i'm spending too much money, bad!!!
