well i haven't been doing much except going to the gym and staying at work super late...and watching american idol. wheeeeeee...so i'm cooking dinner tomorrow night for some friends, i hope they are excited, my main course will be grilled shrimp scampi on angel hair pasta...get excited. yum-o! anyways, today we're getting lunch in from jason's deli, yum-o! ok so that's really my life this week...
not to sound entirely depressing but i don't know how many of you know about my mom's friend, around easter last year she was diagnosed with breast cancer: stage 3...basically b/c of negligent medical care. she's been at MD Anderson for the past year, doing chemo and radiation only to find out it was spreading to her lymph nodes, etc and now, unfortunately her brain, and now they've only given her a few weeks left and she has a 7 year old daughter. i'm not sure why i'm saying anything but it's depressing and my aunt was also in the hospital this week, luckily she is doing better. anyways, i guess i'm just asking for any prayers or thoughts to be sent her way and to her family. stories like this make me realize how lucky i am and to be so thankful for me life. it's just really sad.

i'm ready for this week to be over, to have friends over, to go shopping, and whatever the weekend may hold.
