happy friday!
So far, today has been pretty great. It's Friday, I'm wearing UGGs, I had a pumpkin spice latte, an amazing breakfast burrito from hickory street cafe (at only $2 a pop for a 3 item burrito, I plan on not being hungry for the next 5 hours), I have 2 weeks left of work, Chris comes home in 19 days and we get married in 29 days!!
Somehow all I needed was the turn of the month countdown into actual days to, no, not STRESS me out, but calm me down. Gone are the days of caring where the RSVP cards are, what the place cards will look like and what linens we will use. Gone are the days of worrying about over crowding our venue: we are at such a perfect number, it's not even funny, even when someone adds plus 4 (luckily I was prepared for that specific family to do that) - the more the merrier! So I have to make place cards, I can't really do that until the RSVPs are in, which isn't for another week. So I have to make programs, how long does that take really? I just need paper and a template which is 75% done. So we have to find linens, ok, I know what I want, I just need to make a phone call. And I have to make a list of the vendors which need to sign some forms for the church, and which vendors we have left to pay. Easy enough.
So, what?
I.AM.GETTING.MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I get to spend the rest of my life with my most favorite person in the world - forever!! and honestly? Having an overflow room and ending up with white tablecloths doesn't seem like such a big deal after all ;)
So thank you countdown for finally being in the "less than a month" category. You have made my life easier!
