so i guess it's time for a weekend update....
friday, my boss and i went to a little restaurant called Asti for my 3 month review, it was really good and we shared the chocolate cannoli and i got a good review, so yay! after work, i went home and fell asleep, then andy showed up, so we headed out to our "date". we had dinner at gumbo's, it was sooo yum! except my blackened shrimp was a little too spicy, but it was still good. my friend, brigid, called and said that they were in fredericksburg, so we didn't get a chance to go to play putt-putt, but we did go to get some ice cream, then went home. brigid and her boyfriend justin showed up around 1130 or so, and it was so good to see her again! it's been like 8 years, uhh yeah i know! so we talked some, and then went to bed.
saturday, andy and i went to take his car in, ate breakfast, got his car again, and we were all ready to go around 1230 or so i guess, i took them around to various sites, the lake, the oasis, we ate at kerby lane, went to the capitol, drove down 6th, and by the real world house, then tried to go the drag, but couldn't really find parking and we were all really tired, so we went home and hung out there for a bit. we tried to go see the bats but again, no parking and we were starving so we ate at chuy's which took forever, then back home b/c they had to leave very early sunday.
sunday, we saw them off, and andy and i went shopping, i bought 3 movies, mean girls, silver streak and dream a little dream. the last 2 are really "old" and in 70s/80s, but they were really cheap! so i bought them! at the mall i got andy a shirt and my dad some shorts. then we went to sonic to get a drink, and then came home and watched mean girls, its a really great movie, so i think everyone should watch it and andy even enjoyed it, after that we called up bundy and met her for dinner at china pacific, i haven't seen her in like WEEKS. i told her that shawna's friend vincent wants to meet her so we agreed that we would have to set that up.
after dinner, andy and i went back home and just watched some tv and i did MORE laundry, i think we did like 10 loads this weekend, it was ridiculous. then i put on silver streak, since andy has also never seen that, needless to say we went to bed late, and i was fine this morning, but during our marketing meeting, i wanted to fall asleep!
rose comes in on thursday night and i am VERY excited about that! and then andy and i will be spending the weekend in san antonio, which i am excited about!
anyways, now i actually have a bunch of work to do, so i'll be off.
