nothing really going on, but today is finally thursday! i have been t hinking it was friday ALL WEEK! boo! today rose comes in and i'll be getting her at the airport. after work my dad and i are going to check out the house (in the daylight!) and tonight my mom is putting in the bid. it was actually already under contract but the people's financing didn't go through, so it came back on (ok good, i was worried that something was wrong with the house). i have a floor plan that my non-artistic self drew, it's horrible, but whatever, you get the idea. and here's a picture of the actual house too
andy and i were discussing different types of flooring b/c the living room is hardwood, but the kitchen is in desperate need of new tile (it's just ugly) and then prob. new carpet and obviously paint (no biggies, i have colors for that..mostly neutrals) but the decision is all wood? or tile? or carpet? it came down to what is cheaper? i didn't think that was getting too involved b/c it's important to think about the things you have to fix before you bid on the house. if i started looking for the furniture, etc. then it'd be different...PLEASE PLEASE cross your fingers for this (again!!) i really like it! hopefully i'll like it again today ! haha.
my boss isn't feeling well, i can tell...boo...so i am trying to stay out of her hair. now i have to look through the website and note any changes that we have to make when we add our new Russia office...cool.
there's a 40% chance of rain today, my boss said 30%, so i said fine, 35%...i didn't think so, but i see big clouds overtaking the sky now...neat.
so wish me luck when i see the house today, and when my mom puts in the offer, we find out monday morning!!!!
