so yesterday i went back to the shelter and much to my dismay, madison was gone :( , but i had to have a look around at the others, they have a lot of bigger dogs which i just really won't be able to handle right now. a small dog would be easier: they eat less, make smaller messes, easier to travel with, i mean really, it's better in the long run at this point in my life. anyway, i saw carlos and charlie, the 2 chihuahuas that came in, and for a split second i thought, i can adopt both of them! i mean together, they are probably the size of one small dog, but then i didn't...lol. i found a little terrier about 15 lbs, 3 years old, looks like a mini fox, named jones. i was speaking softly to him and politely asked him to 'sit', which he promptly did, which was perfect! so i'm going to see molly the rat, on sunday, and if that doesn't work out, i'm going to go look seriously at jones. i think shawna and i are going next weds, and then if everything works out we can set it up to pick them up soon afterwards. we'll see. :)
so i didn't do much last night, i was going to make pasta with vodka sauce, but then at the last minute, just made pasta with cheese (aka macaroni & cheese, but more "homemade"). bundy came over and we hung out and watched the rest of desperate housewives and grey's anatomy. that was fun :). then i just watched my dvrs of gilmore girls and the office. the office is a GREAT show, as shawna mentioned in her blog last night. it's just clever humor and i find myself laughing really randomly at it. awesome.
um yes, that's my night, i did nothing too awesome, i did more crunches tonight, my abs will love me tomorrow. but really...nothing witty today...
thank goodness it's FRIDAY! :) so, good things about the weekend? i'm about to pay $2.39 for gas! and looking at puppies. i was planning on sleeping in on saturday, but then i remembered i'm about to take a road trip and need to get my oil changed and new tires...perfect. so none of that sleeping in crap. boo. looks like an overly exciting weekend for ME! did you hear about the cold front? yay!
