hey hey, so the weekend ended up being really fun :)
on friday, i took a really long (and filling) lunch and so i wasn't hungry the rest of the night. so i went to my parents and played with their new tv, they just got super cable or something with 500 channels, and then i went with my mom to target where i bought some cute things and then i went home.
saturday i just woke up and started cleaning my house waiting for kel, then i went to linens 'n things and best buy and then came back. kel came in around 5 and we finished watched a SaTC episode, then went to eat at saltgrass, yum! and then shopping. i got a really cute top at express that i wore later and some jeans, then we went to old navy where i bought this real cute shirt for mothers day, it was like $5
then we came back and got ready to go out, we looked way cute :). we decided in the car we would split the parking and then stay on 4th and 5th...lol...riiight. so we parked in the garage and were going to start at lavaca, but it was possibly lame, so we went to lucky lounge, apparently lucky lounge WASNT lame b/c it was a "1 in/1 out" night. so i was like "boo, let's just go back to lavaca", on the way i hear a "SIRENA!" it was my best! guy friend from high school: matt!! heart!! i gave him a big hug and we had a quick talk and he said he was going to lucky, and i'm like, boo we just left. so we said bye and kel and i had a drink at lavaca, scoping out the place, until this weird guy came over to me and nudged me and started kicking my chair and i was like, "ok, peace. out. " so we went to lucky to see if matt was still there so i could get his phone number (he's moving to georgia in a week, boo, but we need to keep in touch anyways!) when we got THERE, he was just LEAVING too and we already had our drinks, so kel and i hung out at lucky then met shawna, sharla and colleen at Six (not to be confused with 6th STREET). i love Six, it could possibly be on the list for top 5 bars, along with lucky and lavaca. i need to get around 4th and 5th street more. we met them on the roof for a few mins when kel's friend called and said he was on 6th street, so we finished our drinks and met him there, but of course, not without some photo ops.
we also ran into an old friend from Saudi on the walk back to the car…awesome. we wanted to go to taco c for the drunk munchies but the one in leander is NOT open 24 hours!!! boooo cedar park/leander! so we just went home and to bed.
so kel and i were once again reminded that guys are assholes...we were at shakespeare's with matt, who was there with his friend, john(?) and this girl. he made a comment to john which included "she wants you" and john responded with "no, i'll be sleeping on the couch" and matt told us that mr. john apparently has a girlfriend in ft. worth. and kel and i were just like "oh." until! the girl came back from the bathroom and started MAKING OUT with john and he wasn't pushing her away. thanks guys. assholes. the zipcode rule should NOT have to apply...why can't guys just keep it in their pants?! wth?
the next morning, we were lazy, then went to eat lunch at taco c, then to target and kel left and i came home and showered and then took like a 4 hour nap, count it: 2 hours on the couch, 2 hours in bed. weird. whatever. i was pretty lazy all night, yup.
anyways, it’s monday, the sky is extremely grey and gloomy and it’s already 12 and i have lots to do!! i think allison and i are going to dinner and to see American dreamz tonight. yay!
