so this weekend was pretty good, it felt really long and relaxing and of course chris was here :)
on friday, during my lunchtime, chris stopped by my office, he had gotten in at 4am that morning and so i hadn't seen him yet and we were both anxious (aww), so he stayed here for a little bit and after work i went over to his house and stayed for dinner. after dinner, we came back to my house to hang out and so i could get ready for going out that night. after i finally got ready, we went over to ramzi's and met up with ramzi, hope, mo and loza. first off, i was making myself a drink and spilled it all over myself, new jeans, etc. luckily it was only vodka and sprite so it was clear and didn't stain and luckily ramzi has a dryer in his apt, so i threw my jeans in the dryer so they could dry, boo. then we all went downtown. we, of course, started at firehouse, and met up with amy and tatiana, and some other people i can't remember. i actually didn't drink a lot because i wanted to drive home, but i still had fun. after firehouse we went over to pure, the new club on 6th, it was alright i guess, i mean whatever. we made it to the 3rd floor and it was like half full of saudi people, it was crazy. it started to get boring, so we went back to firehouse. after that, ramzi took us back to his apt and chris and i went home.
i got to sleep in on saturday, got ready, took chris home and then met my mom to go see one of our friend's baby, zoe. we were over there for a few hours and i had bad reception and didn't get any texts from chris even though he asked me to come over like 3x, boo. finally i got a hold of him and went home and changed, then went over to his house and then we went to go see my parents. cute. after that, we went over to ramzi's and got him and hope and went down to cleopatra's. it's this little middle eastern place on 35 south...it has a decent atmosphere, it also has a mouse problem, we were sitting on these pillows/blanket things and hope leaned over to chris and was like "there's a mouse right there", it was just sitting next to him on the pillow...it didn't even flinch. gross. i mean sure it was cute and furry, but it was a MOUSE in a restaurant...i put my menu down right away. so we told the manager/owner and he came with some tupperware and just scooped him into it and took him away...booooo. anyways, we stayed there for awhile and then i was really tired so we went home.
on sunday, chris called me "early" (11am) and asked if i wanted to come over, well duh, it was his last day here. so i got ready and went over to his house and had brunch with his family and a cousin and another guy who worked in saudi with our parents. it was soooooo amazing. if i could ever put a meal like that together, i would be so proud of myself, it was great! after 2 bottles of wine and some champagne and eating forever, we went to see ramzi real quick, then came back so chris could pack and get ready to go, he left around 6 and i went back home. boo. i caught up on all my tv shows from last week and talked to ce.
anyways, all in all, it was a good weekend, i could have probably done with some more alone time but at this point, i'm taking all i can get. i just bought a ticket for okc for the 2nd weekend of november so that will be great :) and then he'll be back for tgiving (1.5 weeks after my weekend), and then 2 weeks after that for xmas break....and then paris, and let's just not talk about that right now, shall we? anyways, i am glad i got to see him, i had a lot of fun with him and things are still really great. heart.
today i start half-marathon training for real...boo. but i have to. also, julie's parents are putting their dog to sleep today :( so i invited her over for some cookies and ice cream. poor toby coby. seems like i have a busy week though...tomorrow, vincent is cooking the ladies dinner and wednesday is my work bowling party...not sure what's going on thursday but that's ok because i have to clean and go to houston on friday.
i'm eating a lean cuisine pizza right now, it's actually pretty decent...small...but decent. haha.
