i know, i know, i'm choking everywhere..i haven't updated in like a week....i'm sorry, yesterday and even today have been crazy busy, but i'm eating lunch right now so i thought i'd take a break. it's easiest to break this up into days because there are so many and just give a short re-cap of each day
wednesday:
after work, i stopped by chris' house to say hi to his parents and meet their new pups, cocoa and latte, cutest dogs ever. then i went over to my parents house for dinner, i stayed there for a little while and then went back home and changed. chris came to pick me up and we headed down to cedar street to see the spazmatics where we met sharla, shawna and colleen, and then some of chris' "entourage" showed up: mo, ramzi, hope and shaft. we stayed there for a little bit, then me and the entourage headed out to 6th street, and i think went to pure? i might have been a little emotional, but i think it was fine...chris is very patient. thank goodness...
thursday:
since i didn't go to sleep til 5am, waking up at 9am to be at my parents house in time to help with lunch/dinner was awful...anyways, it all ended well...haha, chris came over and spent time with my family (i think there were like 12-15 of us?) and i'm sure he passed that test with flying colors, then i had dessert (well i didn't, but it was my cousin's bday, so we sang happy birthday), and then went over to chris' house for thanksgiving #2. it was neat to see another family do thanksgiving. ours was done buffet style for example, while his family's was done like a 4 course meal, and of course, i never wanted to eat again after 2 dinners...have i though? of course. after i was sufficiently tipsy, i went back to my parents house to spend some time over there, and then changed to meet chris at omi's...i was soooo exhausted that sitting for 2 hours doing nothing was getting to me and i was starting to get cranky, plus it was like me and 10 of his best friends, an obvious guys' night, so since we'd only be downtown for an hour, i was a good girlfriend and let them be boys and went home...really? so i could sleep. thank GOD.
friday:
i woke up refreshed with 10 hours of sleep, then i got ready and met rose and thad (cousins) for lunch at sandy's hamburger hut, and then we went to my parents. i watched the UT game with my dad and cousin michael and then rose, thad and i went shopping...the area by 620 and 71 wasn't crowded at ALL, it was great, chris met us there too. heart. i only bought some stuff at old navy...for myself...merry christmas to me! then we went back home and chris went back home to have dinner with his family for his dad's bday and my family and i went out for rose's bday to y bar & grill, i love that place. it's so classy...and good! haha. then we came back and i got ready to go out. i met up with shawna, sharla, colleen and vincent and vincent drove us downtown to cedar street (the spazmatics were playing again), i was there for a little bit...well long enough to run up a $30 tab in less than an hour haha, and chris called and said he was at vicci, so shawna walked me over there and i met up with the entourage. we got VIP for some odd reason that i don't remember (i don't remember much,...see: tab), we were there for awhile and then we went to...firehouse, maybe? and then to aquarium. it was a LOT of fun. :) yay.
saturday:
i met up with my mom to do some shopping and so we had merry christmas to us time (yes, we are awful), we had an early dinner at casa garcia's, yum! and then i went home. i was so tired from the weekend so far that i just wanted to sleep, chris called and asked if i really wante to go out and i didn't, so i said, not really and he was like cool, why don't we just go see a movie, so i was like cool. i got ready in movie going clothes and met him at his house, then we drove to omi's where it turns out we missed the "going out" memo, since majority wanted to go out. boo. basically we all went out and half of us didn't drink, i've had better times downtown...does it make me an alcoholic if i only have fun downtown when i drink? yeah...that's what i thought. anyways, the company was fun at least. and colleen and shawna found us at pure, fun! a bunch of the guys skipped out to go to a strip club (no chris wasn't one of them, thankyouverymuch) and the rest of us went home.
sunday:
i woke up and chris came over for a little bit, then he left and i got ready to go to his house since his mom was making the entourage food, so i was basically over there the entire day. chris stopped by on his way out for a little bit, but on the way home i found a little note tucked in my purse from him that was very sweet. i am so sad that he's leaving. :( i'm going to miss him a lot...boo.
anyways, yesterday it was crazy busy from not being at work for 2 days + weekend, and so i hadn't had a chance to write...now it's REALLY busy too but at least i had a lunch break. yay. i didn't leave work til 630 last night and just caught up on some tv shows that i missed...oh really? addison and kerav romance? blah.
