"i've had to work much harder than this for something i want, don't try to resist"--madonna
so i didn't do too much on tuesday, hence no blogging, but yesterday was a fun day. except for the hour from 2-3, it was the longest hour ever, i don't know why.
anyway, i had taco c for lunch which was fabulous, and then i was waiting for chris to come pick me up so we could go see happy feet! he called me at like 5 and said he was here, so i got all ready and when i opened my office door he was standing there with snacks since we wouldn't eat dinner until like 9. very cute. so we had our snacks in the conference room and then left to go to the imax. we made the best decision NOT to get on 35 and got downtown in like 15 mins, and went to get some coffee. then we parked and started walking...in the wrong direction to the IMAX. boo us. i felt like tourists, we had to ask for directions. anyways, we finally got there and were of course really early, haha, we were first in line. chris' parents and his sister met us there, so that was fun. apparently some newscaster from news 8 was sitting in front of us, ooh, celebrity sightings. after the movie, which i thought was sooo cute! i love penquins! and the music was great, it was fun. we went to eat dinner at zax, i wasn't too hungry so i just had soup and salad but that was very good. after that, chris and i wanted to do something since we were already in town, but we didn't know what, i thought we were going home, but we ended up going to the intercontinental and had some wine and just talked. some cutie Q.T as we called it. it was really good, we did talk about the fact that if we didn't think this was worth it or there wasn't some future involved, we wouldn't be doing the 7 months in paris thing, so that was comforting to know. after that, it was almost 1, so he took me back to my car and i went home. very tired.
i got good news this morning that gary fixed our garage door! yay! now i can use the keypad to open it, i guess he reset it and that's why my door opener doesn't work, so now i just need to fix that. yay gary!
so tonight, chris and i are supposed to have dinner with my parents, my mom is making something good, i'm sure. not really sure what we're doing after. my boss gave me a gift certificate to this cute wine bar downtown, but maybe we might wait to do that til later on. i can't believe christmas is monday and he leaves wednesday, boo.
why have i not tried on my NYE outfit or finished christmas shopping? booo me!
