hey hey, here is my weekend update.
after work on thursday, i went over to chris', but he choked big time and fell asleep and wouldn't answer the door or his phone, boo! so i just went home, he called me when i was almost home and asked what happened. duh. anyways, i made him come and pick me up from my house b/c i wasn't going back out there. we went to his house and then went to have dinner with his mom at olive garden (before all the e.coli stuff happened there, wheee)
friday i went to lunch with chris at pluckers, haha. yum. after work i went to my parents house and had dinner with my dad at our favorite thai restaurant, then i wrapped some presents for my mom and went home to change. chris came to pick me up and we went over to omi's, we hung out and pre-drank there and then went out. we spent all night at pure, it was like a saudi reunion...except it was all the younger kids and i felt really old, well not really, i didn't even notice. i drank a lot of vodka/sprites at omis and a few vodka/sodas at pure. they played good music at least. after that, we went to some random guy's house, i have no idea who it is, and some girl decided we were bff's b/c she was with the guy who drove us over there and it was just her, the guy, aaron and chris and i. ok....anyways. i was getting really tired, so we got aaron to take us back to omi's. i had a lot of fun though.
on saturday i just hung out, i went to the mall but it was a disaster. i bought a new battery for my garage door opener...and it still doesn't work, boo. i dont' really want to pay someone to come out and fix it, but i hate having to go inside, opening the garage and then driving my car inside. boo. chris and i were really tired on saturday and didn't really want to go out again, so we met his old boss and her husband and their baby for dinner. she was really loud. enough said. we were at dinner for awhile and then just came back to my house for a little bit.
on sunday, i slept in, and then went to chris', shawna had called me earlier and asked if i could pick her, colleen, vincent and cynthia up at the airport, since i didn't have any real plans, i said sure. it turns out chris had secretly bought us tickets to see happy feet at 4pm, which was what time i had to pick up shawna and co. oops, but he rescheduled for monday at 7pm, except that i realized we had moved the trail of lights from tues to monday b/c of rain, and anyways, long story short, we're seeing it on weds at 7pm with his family, haha. after i picked up the gang at the airport i went back to chris' and then we went to meet ce and gary for dinner at kerbey lane. i don't know why we can't think of any other restaurants in austin, what the hell? anyways, it wasn't very good, what a disappointment. boo. then chris and i went back to my house and watched a few episodes of nip/tuck, i think we have like 8 more to go, boo!
anyways, today the day is going by fast, my boss is out sick, boo. and i requested the day after xmas off...is it wrong to want to take this friday off too? i would love a 5 day weekend, i don't ever take those, and my boss is taking all of the week after xmas off. anyways, i just emailed to see how many vacation days i have left, and then i'll decide. tonight, we're going to the trail of lights! yay! :)
