tv night!
first off...american idol...haley gets sent home and finally! i'm over sanjaya, i've come to accept the fact this is all a cruel joke that american idol is playing on the world and seriously, if sanjaya wins AI and simon really quits as the rumor has it, i quit too! lol. (no, not really, AI is my religion, but STILL). next week is phil's week and then it's all a toss up i'm sure. also, the akon clip? previously recorded, haha, how AWESOME.
ok so...friday night lights finale was also on. this is such a feel good show, i mean honestly. i love it b/c it's all texas and it takes me back to the days of high school football games and i just love it. here's to the hopeful future of season 2. the only complaint i have is that if you're going to pretend you're in dallas, FILM it somewhere where the background of the hotel in "dallas" is not the frost bank tower in AUSTIN. haha, i guess they figure most of the US won't know the difference, but *I* know! and everyone in texas who are probably the only people who watch the show, know that too! anyway, there are too many cliffhangers so they better bring it back!
speaking of more tv, grey's anatomy tonight is just a recap of the season, boo! which means the next epi should be next week and the finale not far behind, may is fast approaching! also, last night i made this potato and asparagus soup! it was sooo good! i got the recipe from tatiana's sister, and i had to tweak it a little bit b/c she's vegan and i'm not, but it was still really really tastey! yum!
anyway, this weekend i'm trying to lay low, i have a busy few weekends coming up so i don't really want to do much, plus i'm really trying to save money! :) chris got back to paris last night and called me like the second he landed, and that my friends, is why i love him so much! :) anyway it was good to hear his voice again and be upset at sprint or his phone, whichever for not receiving or sending texts! boo! anyway all is well.
