prayers

thank you to everyone who has sent their thoughts and prayers our family's way.

my cousin passed away this morning. i'm sad, but i think i did all of my crying yesterday, it's like i already kind of knew in a way. i'll probably be in SA again this weekend to help and do whatever i can.

i've had a few moments recently where i realzied how short life really is: kyle lake, my mom's friend, my cousin now. people who have left us too young. it makes me sad to know i wasn't super close to her, but in family instances it doesn't really matter. when we were younger that's when we hung out the most and i always remember her laugh, she had this loud, throaty laugh that was very contagious. that's what i'll remember most about her, how she would make everyone laugh. :). now i just ask for prayers for her daughter and family.
