quick american idol recap. i watched the entire hour in about 20 mins, thanks to the beauty of dvr. since they all sang 3 songs, i basiaclly just turned up the tv and got ready while i listened. i mean...it would be wrong to say they're all good b/c they're not. we all know blake is in a weird, different place than jordin and melinda will ever be. the judges wnet crazy for his "roxanne" and maybe it's b/c i was in the other room but i was cringing while in my closet. his other 2 however i did enjoy and i did enjoy he didn't beatbox to every song. good realization, probably a little bit too late. his last song, i absolutely LOVE and was dancing to it, "when i get you alone". this whole time i have thought it was sang by thicke, which it IS, however what i didn't know is that thicke is the ROBIN thicke of today. apparently 4 years ago, he had long nasty hair, gross facial hair and went by his last name. good to know. so i liked blake's last 2 songs alright. and jordin and melinda's 1st and 3rd. the easy way to go here is to say blake's going home and he probably knows that, so i'm just ready for the finale already. wheeeeeeeeee

after havign dinner with at chris' parents house, i went to run some errands and home to watch AI and get ready. we had decided to go out, something i really need to rethink on a tuesday night at 10pm, but it's ok! i didn't get home til 4 though and i'm in a little bit of a daze what with my 3 hours of sleep. somehow i got ready and to work in time enough to even be a little early. weird. anyways last night, no one really knew where they wanted to go and it was a big hopping party for awhile, bar-celona, firehouse, lucky lounge, no, cuba libre, gruve, no, back to lucky lounge, but not without thinking aquarium was a possibility. anyway, luckily we stayed at lucky lounge for awhile since it started POURING around 1 or so. nice. it was fun though.

anyway i'm just a LITTLE bit tired, but i took off thurs and friday so i'm excited for an extra long weekend to spend with my chris!!
