geez, how long has it been? too long.
so i had a good weekend, my cousins were here, and on friday, they ate dinner and then rose and i went to the mall to get a blender and shop around a little bit, i didn't see anything, to my credit card's delight i'm sure. then we went home and watched the prestige, with my boyfriend christian bale in it, i didn't get to finish it though, boo.
on saturday, we went over to my parents house, went to lunch and then my mom and i went to SA. we got settled and then headed out to the parade and met up with a bunch of our relatives, it was fun. we took about half of the beads we had gotten from mardi gras (read: about 20lbs worth of the 50 we had) and apparently people get excited about beads ANYWHERE you go, so with the help of the guys who sold us our seats, we threw them to the crowd, it was fun! and we got rid of them! lol. at the very end of the parade, it started dumping rain so we left.
on sunday, i just got ready and my mom and i went to the flea market to do some purse shopping, i didn't really find anything, i never do, but good to know louis vuittons are back on the market after the major raid they had, lol. oops. then we drove back to austin, i went to dinner with my dad and then went home. and i slept for about 10 hours, i was so tired!
monday, was just work and i went on a last minute dinner date with my friend allison from high school, her bday is today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLISON! and we had a very classy dinner at luby's. she's also going to minnesota for work at the end of this month and i wont' see her, so i wanted to see her before she left. then i went to the gym, and then i went home.
tuesday i just went home lol, and i watched, ..AMERICAN IDOL. duh. so i'm excited b/c 2 people get to go home tonight (yes, GET to haha). i was excited about bon jovi night b/c i was hoping for a stint of the 80s. i did get a little bit of it. it wasn't an awful night by any means, i thikn it's just going to be people who sucked previously getting kicked off, which means it's anyone from phil to chris to lakisha, probably in that order. jordin was my least favorite last night, mainly b/c she took over lakisha and started yelling the song and i'm like you've got to be joking, is this karoake, plus her hair? awful. i don't care if it was rock night, all the other girls kept theirs straight. phil wasn't awful but not amazing, and it's his time, and chris wasn't awful either but not super, and i just don't like him anyway. plus, chris daughtry sang that song last year ("wanted dead or alive") and we all know how much i loved him, so i don't want to even HEAR anyone else do it..unless it's bon jovi. i liked melinda, as usual and i liked lakisha's song and finaly she wasn't yelling it all over the place. and blake? first off, he dyed his hair which i like b/c i like dark haired guys ANYWAY, secondly, you're beat boxing this song? you. are. hott. it's ok if you didn't like it but i had to rewind the damn thing and watch it again i liked it so much, it was fun. i understand it's a singing competition,...but actually i think his voice was stronger last night than normal. all in all, my favorite performance of the evening "you give love a bad name!" anyway, phil and chris. my picks to leave. i voted for blake and melinda.
anyway, these weeks aren't going by very fast, thanks a lot weeks! chris comes home in 9 days!!! I. CANT. WAIT. and tomorrow? i get to eat seafood and meat again! yay!!!!
