so...the weekend update and more.
friday was fun, lbo came into town and we went out with ce for a belated bday dinner to this little italian place called reale's. it was pretty good, at least their pizza was. after dinner, ce went to gary's and lbo and i went to heb to try to find this sparkling wine that she likes but they didnt' have it. boo. so we went back to my house and were goign to watch SaTC, but ended up talking for like the next 3 hours instead, oops. i DID have to get up early the next morning. oh well. it was good.
saturday i woke up on time, with a little help from lbo and got ready for houston. i had checked on chris' flight before i left and it said it was a little delayed so that was ok. unfortunately i thought i was late, and i wasn't and his flight was 40 mins late and his bags were the last 2 off the airplane, boo! i had to watch all these people reunite with their parents/bf/wives/husbands before i even got to SEE chris! and by then i didn't care, i pretty much just ran up to him and gave him a big hug and kiss in the aisle where everyone is walking out from. oh well, i saw plenty of people do that and stop traffic. i didn't care! and it was SOO good to see him! heart. after i picked him up, we were both starving, so we called up a few of the entourage and we (lid, safa, mo, and danny, another one i hadn't seen since 9th grade) all went to buffalo wild wings. fun fun. after that, we went to lid's apt for a little bit, and when i say "little" i mean like 20 mins, i was so ready to come home. so we drove back to his parents house so he could say hi and we could eat a late dinner and then he came over.
on sunday i woke up, and met my mom to get our nails done. we ran some errands, but i veto-ed the store and went to lay by the pool. worst. idea. ever. i was barely out there for 30 mins but i guess i wasn't very hydrated and hadn't really eaten, and i came inside when my mom came back from the store and passed out. it was kind of weird, to me it felt like i was just really tired and fell asleep, except i was "falling asleep" on my parents tile floor. so my head is a little hurt, but i don't have a concussion and i went to the dr. yesterday who diagnosed it as overheating (but with a more medical term) and i had some blood taken today just in case. anyway of course my mom was freaking out, understandably. after i had hydrated and ate a little something and laid down, we had our mothers day lunch that unfortunately my mom had to make herself b/c of my lack of alertness, but it was good. after a nap, and some golf, i went over to chris' house for a little bit, then i went home to change and we went to mozarts. it was pretty empty but it was good.
yesterday, work, dr. appt, work, about to throw my computer out of the window, dinner with chris' family (and i was late, boo, stupid work), then home to change and he came to pick me up and we went to third base, it's a sportsbar off 6th and mopac. the guy who owns firehouse opened it up a few months ago. it's actually kind of cool, there's like 50 tvs and happy hour mon-fri 4pm - 8pm and the food was decent. we went to go watch the suns/spurs game, i'm not sure why, lol, anyway ramzi, shaft and tatiana met us there and we hung out for awhile. then chris took me home and i went to sleep too late, boo.
can i just say how lucky i am? i know i don't like go on and on about my boyfriend and i don't really do it b/c i don't want people to be sick of it, but i feel like i should since he's away all the time and you guys don't really know him that well. so here is my shoutout to my boyfriend, all gagging aside. he really is a great great guy and more than anything i ever could have expected. i am just really lucky to have him. :) happy feet! i. love. my. boyfriend.
anyway today, i don't know what's going on. all i have planned so far is i'm taking off thurs and fri and we're going to enchanted rock on friday, fun. i've never been there. anyway, i'm v. tired and hoping the day goes by just a little faster.
