so obviously the lack of entries in the past few months has caused lack of reading and lack of comments. well boo. and i just wrote 2 novel posts.
so a few things, last night i went to dinner with julie at this sushi place in georgetown, it was pretty good, and she bought me dinner, aww. after that i was goign to take her to get dessert, on the way, we saw a pet store so we stopped in and ooh-ed and aww-ed at all the puppies, i'm talking like SUPER cute, all types, every kind you could imagine and i couldn't decide if i wanted a chihuahua, yorkie or bulldog...so i got all 3, haha, no just kidding, but i would be lying if i said i didn't want to, julie too. sorry i just don't have $1500 laying around. they were just all so cute and small, it made me want to buy a place closer to work so i could take it out and give it more attention or at least a place with an area for a doggie door. haha. anyway, then we went to coldstone (i should explain we were at this shopping complex in georgetown that is HUGE and only 20 mins from me, awesome) and when i parked next to her, i saw she had a flat tire, boo! as girls, and helpless girls nonetheless, we had no idea how to change it, or what the next step was. as always, the answer is "call parents", so she called her dad. "hi dad, i'm 26 and a lawyer and i can't change a tire" bless her heart...so after a lot of calls, etc, we found someone to come change it for her and i bought her ice cream and all better, well sort of. anyway it was a fun night all in all.
so i'm seriously thinking about selling my ACL ticket, it's not that i don't love ACL, because i do, it's just that i'm really not THAT excited about a lot of the bands, i feel like i'm the only person who's not, i've heard this is like the best lineup in awhile, but i miss ben harper and jack johnson and g. love, and others. haha. anyway, it's not definite yet, but the only people i'm REALLY excited about are the killers and they're playing on saturday in houston, and i can sell my ticket and buy 2 to the killers and still have money left over. this is just a possibility and would also fit in as chris' bday present, since he also loves the killers and well, that works. but we shall see.
so how excited am i? from today it is exactly 7 DAYS til chris comes home, and a long time ago it was 7 MONTHS! so. excited. it's really gone by fast when i look back on it. awesome.
also, i'm seriously thinking about sending in an application to try out for don't forget the lyrics, i love lyrics and i love to sing (even though i suck and i dont' have to be good for this show). i need 2 people to be my lyrics backup...who else knows a lot of lyrics? haha.
thank god tomorrow is friday. i'm off to SA to get fitted for my bridesmaid dress, then back here for the aramco brat movie screening and hopefully seeing hairspray.
