"and i will walk with you, using the stars as guides"--dispatch
hey hey
yesterday, just like shawna i found it very hard to concentrate...my day started off normally i guess. it was really gloomy outside, and i'm not a fan of that when it's not raining...i went out to lunch and i saw that the small parking lot by my office building was yellow-taped off and there were about 5 cop cars there, i couldn't really tell what happened, i didn't see a wreck or anything, so i took the long way around and by passed all that mess...it just so happened (i found out about 2 hours later) that a guy who works in my building (not for our company, there are about 6 or 7 other companies here) was walking across the street and got hit 2x and was killed. well needless to say this is extremely sad and pretty much put me (and luckily my boss) into a daze from about 2-5, the rest of the afternoon was spent house-hunting and trying to get live feeds. i couldn't believe that, it's like, this guy woke up and thought it was like every other day, and he didn't go home last night. pretty unbelievable.
after that, andy had told me baylor was playing clemson and shawna said she was listening to the live feed, which i never got, so instead my dad called me everytime something happened (every 4 minutes) during the 8th and 9th innings so i would know what was going on, but...we won! so that's exciting, get ready longhorns!!
next, i did manage to get the live feed from cbsnews.com to hear the jackson verdict. i waited patiently for 5 mins, and impatiently for the next 15, but finally it was read, and he was....not guilty? wtf? apparently MJ sold the jury the crack that he smokes everyday...sweet. this whole thing is really unnerving..i mean, sure, MJ was cool back in the day, moonwalk and all, and i admit i like his 80s music, but man he sure did go crazy...i don't know what the hell is wrong with him and i surely don't know what the hell is wrong with the jury..i mean even not guilty of providing alcohol to minors (i know this is the least important crime of them all) but didn't he like ADMIT to that or something? aren't there PICTURES and PROOF of that? whatever.
i came home, quickly changed and met for my first personal training appointment. it was hard, and i made faces and i hurt and my legs were shaking, and today i feel really sore, but i think it was worth it...he told me if i wanted to look good for cali i should go on a no carbs diet, and i was like riiight, i think low carbs is better, and don't you NEED carbs to do things? great, my personal trainer with a college degree sure is a flake, good to know. then i came home, ate some soup, watched the inferno II and searched and searched for my sim city 3000 game, but couldn't find it, boo. oh well.
today is a nicer day, and i'm going to run some errands tonight...by the way, bracelet wanters? i need color specifications...(ie. SHAWNA ;) )
i only wished my bracelets looked like this, i'm going to practice tonight!
peace out
