ok, well i AM feeling better, i finally got to talk to an actual person about my loans, who told me to send in a form (on the down side, she talked to me like i was an idiot, like who in their right mind would wait a week and a half before their grace period was up to consolidate their loans..i wanted to say, "well if your stupid company would release my loans, then MAYBE i wouldn't be so stupid) whatever. anyway, i'm filling that out on my lunch break and mailing it today.
last night, i just rested. i watched the scholar on abc, it was interesting, 10 high school kids competing for lots of money in scholarships and free rides to college, very deserving kids...so it made me feel smart, and it's pretty decent, anyways, so far i think davis is a tool (he'll get a wake up call in college) and i really like melissa, the girl who won $50K last night...we'll see if i continue watching. i also watched the real world/road rules challenge and am really excited it's almost over and that the good guys caught up to the bad guys...yay! THEN i watched the real world: austin preview and i am SOO psyched...the whole "panel of real worlders" was kind of retarded and forced, but i am intrigued by the cast, and there is plenty of drama to draw me in, (yay editing!) so i am PSYCHED! not to mention i'm like, "hey! i know THAT bar!" it's kind of cool, i'm really disappointed i never saw them, but at least i knew where their house was! i went to sleep and i slept GREAT! yay! finally i'm caught up. my allergies are really bothering me this week though and i almost sneezed myself to death this morning, but i'm fine.
so i'm really excited, i don't think i mentioned it last week, but i have officially gotten my ticket to L.A. to visit favorite cousins, rose&thad over 4th of july weekend! i am in desperate need of a vacay, and am so excited i can use my days now!!
so i really want to go back and get my MBA, of course, i don't really have the option to just quit work and go back, but UT offers a 2 year evening degree, which would be great, i thought, neat, i only need to work 6 months before my company will reimburse me, i can start in january...but no, i can't b/c i have to have worked for 2 years for UT to accept me, so NEVERMIND! lol. besides, my GPA is so jacked up, I don't know if they would even accept me.
have y'all tried the new black pepper jack doritos (or whatever they're called?) they are SOOO good! i almost ate the whole bag on sunday.
on friday, our office is having a bonus party, the "upstairs" is invited (note: i am "upstairs"), the reason they have to extend themselves, is b/c 1. upstairs doesn't get bonuses until august
also, i don't even get a bonus this year b/c i haven't worked a year, boo! but i think we get free champagne again, sweet! i think andy and tj are coming into town, so it's basically my excuse to have a free drink and leave early, yay!
so my mom also went to a wedding this week, she said it was totally soap opera-filled and dramatic, that the couple was 1. not going on a honeymoon and 2. already fighting within 24 hours of the marriage, with the husband (family friend) telling his newlywed wife that if she didnt like it, she could leave the house...niiiice. i'm like hey stupid, why'd you get married...? apparently there are all these issues that are coming up now, and it's like, uhh don't you talk about those BEFORE you link your life that seriously with someone? whatever.
