have you had your latin kiss today?

"now we're sharing the same dream, and our hearts will beat as one, no more love on the run"--billy ocean

hey hey, this could be a pretty detailed post, so brace yourselves

to catch people up:

the house:
after i had the inspection on the original house, it was apparent that many many things were wrong with it (i.e. foundation, water damage, AC, furnace, etc.), this sounded like an extensive amount of startup costs, then enter my parent's house: cute, available, in need of only a fence and garage door, pretty do-able...then enter my mother's bright idea of my parents buying the original house and fixing it up themselves, then enter her concern of no incoming money from that house, enter MY concern of THEM fixing up the house...end result? no one's buying and no one's moving...contract? terminated! done! now onto a new house search

the tiff with the boyfriend:
i don't really like to discuss personals about the boyfriend especially when they are things i can handle myself, i don't like to bring too many people into my drama, the less people, the better, so i apolgize in advance for lack of exact words spoken, etc.

basically, i said some things, which he took the wrong way, ending up in a wicked fight, possibility of not going down there this past weekend...silly boyfriend, why wouldn't you want to see me? when we see each other, it usually wipes the slate clean, this was no different, we made up :) and had a pretty decent weekend.

does that clear stuff up?

the actual weekend:
driving down to waco i got there in good time, andy made some dinner for us, and we watched oceans 12. saturday morning, we awoke to the sight of cloudy skies and loaded the car, just in time for it to monsoon down on us, a quick stop at mcdonalds and walmart later, we were on the way to tyler...in the rain. once we got there we had lunch with his grandparents who are way cute. *it's still pouring rain and did not subside until later that evening..boo!* basically we just sat around all day, i had brought along my last shopaholic book and was reading that, i took a nap, we watched movies, it was pretty lazy.

sunday, we woke up, had some good lunch, went to the mall, came back, andy grilled some stuff, his aunt and uncle came by, we ate, we left back to waco. i was so very tired as was andy, but his bed was soaked b/c his roof had leaked while we were gone, so we had to fix his bed, it was not something you wanted to come home too. we started to watch fox and the hound (aww, cute movie, i think i want to name my dog copper now) but i fell asleep and woke up at 12 to the sound of the neighbor hammering something...what the heck? who hammers at midnight?! then later on i woke up to the sound of the rain dripping outside...not like normal rain, it was dripping off the roof or something, whatever. andy woke up early to go to work, i slept in and got ready, we had lunch, then i was off back home and he was off to work...my family was there, and we watched ray and chicago before they left.

my mom got a new laptop! it's a sony vaio, like mine, only newer, thinner, and cuter...boo, too bad mine's working! haha...actually my screen is about to go out, so i am about to use my 2 year warranty at best buy...yay! i KNEW it would come in handy.

this week i am pretty busy, tonight i have my first training appt at the gym (i feel like i worked out all day yesterday, it's weird, b/c i didn't), shopping for a dress (meaning shoes+jewelry, etc), getting my nails done, happy hour with bundy, dinner with shawna...yeah, i'd pretty much say my week's taken care of...

peace out playas

ps. i've made a pretty sad realization, i adore billy ocean and lionel richie's music...:-/
