very quick update, i am really busy at work today!
last night i had dinner with shawna at chili's, it was good to chill out...and to eat all her tortillas b/c she couldn't (sorry shawna) and actually i only had 1. anyway, after that i spent a long time at the mall (again) and to no avail, i found NO shoes! i was like, ok...then i remembered that my job is like 3 mins from highland mall, which i hadn't checked yet...ok! good! that's what i'll do at my lunch break, i thought. anyways, i also had to stop at the grocery store and then came home. i watched some tv and then went to bed like really early, i know i'm a big nerd...whatever, i slept really well.
anyways, today, we ran our monthly report for may to see how our website is doing on the search engines and if the changes i made for it are actually getting us more visits...and?!? THEY ARE!! i am SOO excited, i feel like i have accomplished something! it is so neat to be typing in the numbers and see the increase from the month before and be like, those were MY ideas that helped that! anyways, it is taking me forever to go through all the documents i have to alter, but oh well. then i have to write a mini report, boo! but anyways.
so i went to the mall during my lunch break, i'm not a huge fan of highland, but when it's empty it's not so bad, i did the power walk throughout the mall, and came out with, a pair of shoes!! yay! they're just black, not a HUGE heel, but high enough with a tiny diamond on the strap, i didn't really want jewels or sequins, but these look tasteful...and also i bought a pair of pants at Express...whoops! i couldn't help it! they were on SALE and 2 weeks ago they were $60! today $29.50...come on! (ok, you might have realized that Express doesn't SELL shoes, but the people i used to work with at the lakeline all moved to the highland one, so i was trying nonchalantly to see if they were still there (they weren't)...but the PANTS were! ;) haha, anyway, now i just have to get jewelry and i know where to get it, b/c i've see it, i was just waiting to see the shoes...(oh and those were only $29.99..yes, more than the dress, but cheaper than i thought, once again)
anyway, i ran by taco bell, and got here a little late, but my boss is MIA so she wont' know *sigh of relief* (and besides i was like 5 mins late, no biggie and tomorrow i have to leave early so i have to work through lunch AGAIN!) boo!
that wasn't a very quick update was it? well anyways, after work, i'm getting my nails done and then going home to pack and get ready for this weekend! yay! oh and right now brad pitt is on my AIM window and he just sits there talking about poverty, it kind of freaked me out to see his face constantly..weird (he's not my favorite person right now)
