well last night, i stopped by bundy's to pick up my sex and the city seasons 3 & 4, and see her swimsuit and hang out for a little bit, then i went to get some money and to the place where i like to get my nails done, apparently so does everyone else, there was a really long line and it was 630, place closes at 7, so i was like...urgh, ok. i went to where i called the "eyebrow wax" salon b/c everytime i've been there, they always say "you need eyebrow wax" to which i respond, "no thank you, not today", maybe my eyebrows are larger than theirs, but they aren't bushy or huge and i have never felt a self-conscious issue with them and i will just be fine with tweezers, thank you.
anyway, the lady who did my nails didn't really look like she wanted to, afterwards, she told me she was really tired and hungry and when she saw me come in she wasn't sure if she should say yes or no...excuse me if i'm wrong, but it was 630, the place closes at 7, aren't they supposed to "help" you until it's closed? i understand being tired, etc. but it was like working retail, we HAD to let people in, even if it was 859 , and we closed at 9, yes it sucked beyond all means when people would come in, try on, and then not buy anything and it was 930...please keep this in mind ladies, if you're going to come in at 850, then make sure you are buying something! (unless you don't try something on) anyways it was 30 mins until closing, i didn't think it would be a big deal, esp. for a manicure, a measly $15, for like 20 mins. whatever.
i came home, and my parents and i went to target, i got the stuff for the wedding gift, a hanger thingy for my camisoles, and some other crap i'm sure. came home, ate while watching the last few minutes of britney & kevin:chaotic...urgh all i heard was "the SEX is sooo GOOD!" and now she's like, "i'm pregnant, the sex is CRAZY good!" i'm like britney? you're MARRIED, it's ok, you have sex, most married couples DO, you don't have to TELL us about it, everyone else is enjoying their own sex life, we don't want to know about yours, esp. with dirty k-fed. whatever.
anyways, then i spent the next few hours, packing, doing laundry, cleaning, and waiting for my mom to alter the pants i am wearing tonight. this morning i woke up 10 mins late?! whaat? i guess i slept through a hefty part of my alarm, this is ok, b/c during my normal wake up time, i give myself 20 extra mins b/w my shower and dressing to sleep (again...yeah, i know) so i wasn't any later, which was good. i had to get gas, and i was SURE i'd be really late, but i wasn't, even got there before my boss, sweeet!
anyways, i'm leaving early today for the rehearsal dinner, but it looks like it's about to pour buckets down and my boss told me i could leave earlier if i needed to, she's so awesome!
anyways, i have to work through lunch today, which sucks b/c all i have here is 1 choc. chip muffin and some pineapple, hopefully i won't be too grouchy when i get to waco.
sure to be an exciting weekend update when i get back, plus the singletons and family blogs are all updated as of recently!
