i know you all were just gnawing your teeth waiting for my next update..hah!
so friday, i came home from work, packed, andy showed up and we headed out, stopping first at chili's for dinner. then off to SA. we got there around 930 or so i guess, and then just watched tv. saturday, we woke up early and got ready, then had breakfast at my favorite mexican restaurant, then off to the rivercenter/riverwalk, etc. we walked around for awhile, then went to see charlie and the chocolate factory...soo good! i heart johnny depp! (even if he's kinda crazy in this movie, hehe) we then left which turned out to be dumb, i don't even remember why we left, but we drove a lot that day, needless to say...eventually we stopped to eat MORE mexican food (yum!) and then ended up at the quarry and walked around there. then we went back to my cousin's house and just hung out, my cousin, rose came in late from corpus christi and so she finally got to meet andy...yay! then off to sleep, to wake up early on sunday, get ready, eat breakfast with some family members and then off to austin again. we tried to stop at Cabela's because i want to buy some birk clogs and they are really cheap there, but the parking was ridiculous, b/c it had just opened, it was like going to an amusement park or something, whatever. we went off again to austin and stopped to buy some shoes at whole earth provisions or whatever it's called, i bought these. (except in red) they are like heaven on my feet! and they have different styles, i highly recommend them.
then we went home and started laundry, then went off to eat and to look at a house. i don't want to talk too much about it b/c i don't want to jinx it, let's just say...it would be REALLY nice if this worked out. i'll post a picture if it works out (ok?) then we went to REI, then back home and just hung out for a few hours until andy had to leave :( i had a really good weekend and it felt like it was really long (in a good way) and i didn't want it to end. *sigh*
anyways, yesterday went by really quickly. my mom, rose and my uncle met me for lunch at the east side cafe (yum!) then came back to work it was almost 3! (i only took an hour, but it was a late hour), then after work i met them at ross, i found cute stuff, but only ended up with a pink hoodie (my mom commented on how many i have, when really i only have like 3 or 4 and they are all different colors (pink sweater, white sweater, yellow and pink cotton) and for how much i wear hoodies, it's really not unpractical, that's what i think at least) whatever, then we went off to see the house (again) so my mom could use the wheels in her head and do her research. all she said was she "didn't like the mexicans at the corner (they were far away)" and i honestly think they were just working there, but whatever, there were people walking around outside and they didn't look crazy or dirty and everyone mows their lawns so i don't think it could be too bad of a neighborhood. then we went to eat thai food and i really wasn't that hungry so i just got some egg rolls and fried rice.
came home, did laundry, rose adjusted our backs (yay chiropractor in family!), then off to bed..i was going to take her to the airport until i realized that 4am was going to come very early, and i flaked out (sorry boo!) anyways, she is off and back to cali and here i am at work. i have cheese enchiladas for lunch (ahh too much mexican), yogurt, a plum and string cheese and graham crackers for snack...yeah i'm prepared. i just brought them all b/c i don't usually eat all of my stuff, but save it for a day when i AM starving. at 5 i have my eye appointment which is great b/c i just my last pair of contacts in today...anyways, i get to use my insurance for the first time, wow, i'm such an adult.
last night i updated my ipod some, i have now passed the 3000 songs mark, sweet 3030. i have more on the way...
