well yesterday was another BUSY day, i have tons of work to do, so i can't just play around this week (boo? nah, i like to be busy) anyways, the first thing i have to point out is, i was just sitting in my office, sort of chewing on a fingernail, but not BITING it, just pondering b/c that's what i do (true, i used to bite my nails horribly, but i am working on it thankyouverymuch) and this new guy comes in and is like, "you shouldn't do that" i was like..i'm sorry? (what the eff is he talking about?) then he proceeds to say "b/c your nails will look like mine" and shows me his UGLY ass nasty bitten down nails (SICK!) i was like "oh" then he laughed and walked away, what the heck? do i know you? do my nails LOOK like yours? no! they are actually short, but neat, so there. it was disturbing to say the least.
i left early to get to my eye appointment, which took like an hour, sucks with insurance bouts (my first time) and pupil dilation (dilution?) and i didn't really like the doctor much, i miss karen & wally & shelley (my old eye office), so grr to insurance. so i left around 6 wearing those neat shades they give you and also with a cool pink contact case that i swiped (hey i put MY contacts in it, who else would want it?) allison thought my shades were really cool when i drove by her when we passed on the street when i got home, she thought i was being really trendy, i appreciate that, maybe no one else noticed they were 80 year old black sunglasses.
i got home and received ANOTHER loan statement from my "crappy" (not so crappy now) loan company which consolidated my loan (i guess they hadn't before when i paid the first payment?) so now my monthly payments are $64.10!!! (WHAT?! YESSSSS!) this helps me SOO much, that's like $240 as opposed to the $370 i was going to be paying. so i guess they're not crappy as long as they're not trying to confuse me into paying like 50 loans...whatever, i need to call them.
then i went to the grocery store with allison, and picked up some snacks, etc and a magazine b/c i haven't bought one in almost a month and i figured with the extra money i didn't have to spend on LOANS, i could treat myself. after that, over to her house for the real world. you know, people have been writing about how they can't stand the cast, and i was like what do you mean? ..i think i realized last night, it's not like they're that interesting, in fact they all are kind of annoying, well the girls are, i can really only handle danny, except he chases mel's boy brief-ed bottoms. haha. anyway, i will of course still watch it, even for lack of drama.
this morning, i didn't want to walk up, as emily had hit land and made it very gloomy up here, anyways, i DID, started to get ready, realized my favorite (or one of my favs) pair of pants had a zipper broken, like the bottom part just disappeared so i can no longer zip them, boo! so i quickly made an executive wardrobe choice, grabbed my rain jacket and left. so it took me awhile to get to work, it's RAINING outside, yay! and so glad for the rain jacket! yay! so the brook by my window is finally full of water and that's fun to watch, unless it overflows, then not so much. whatever
no news about the house, like i said, not going overboard, but i will find out on monday morning and then post the news.
