yesterday started out alright. i got an email from my long lost freshman (high school) english teacher...*heart*! he was one of my favorites! helped me with my poetry! awesome. anyway, so i wrote him back, then started back to work. by 4, my slight headache was KILLING me, thank you migraine/sinuses. i had to stay for a 5pm phone meeting with my boss and i was about to pass out, plus this website i have been working on (which is all in japanese...and no i do not speak it) isn't working. the pictures work fine until i post the text...awesome. so my boss said wait until today to finish working on it. ok, so i went home. i stopped at taco c for some chips and queso b/c i was STARVING (dang cup o'noodles) and drove home, still feeling gross.
i came home, and upon good advice from my mother, got in the pool for a few minutes, then went upstairs to nap. my mom called me for dinner, and i could barely eat or keep my head up, so i just went back upstairs, my mom said she'd call me in an hour, but 3 hours later, i got a phone call from andy ...uhh a 3 hour nap? and now it's 10pm? crap. so i got online, talked to my peeps, took a benadryl and went back to sleep. i don't feel AMAZING, but i do feel better.
dang school, it takes me forever to get to work now. anyways, i'm back at work and this header for this website STILL doesn't work. i found the problem, but i don't know how to fix it. it looks NO different than any other header we have, and i've compared the html codes...and i am just stuck. booo
so my brother and niece are coming to visit today. that should be interesting to say the least. my 10 year old niece is wonderful and all, but she is a definite handful...and people wonder why i'm anti-kid? i have 6 nieces and nephews...wouldn't that be a turn-off for you? (note: my mom just called and asked me if i wanted to go to dave and busters with them at 11..HELLS YEAH! ok i think i like kid THINGS, just not kids. whatever.)
what else? well i got my credit card bill...eh. but i know that $200 will be paid by insurance. that is the only thing that helps. i STILL want a snocone. maybe i'll stop by sonic on the way back to work from d&b. now if only i could figure out this website stuff!
note: i jsut want everyone to notice that it is NOT MY IDEA to extend my house acquiring celebration. please note that my original idea was friday, but had to be moved to tuesday, and i would be JUST fine with a tuesday happy hour, but that the roommates are coming in that next friday and l*bo wants to celebrate then and shawna wants to still do it this friday...PLEASE NOTE! NOT MY IDEAS! (unlike the whole birthday celebration, which i only did one year thankyouverymuch and it was only b/c of the situation. not everyone could be with me at the same time!)
