"when it's all over, please get up and leave"--destiny's child

so 4th of july weekend for me was pretty uneventful, i didn't really do too much but i was thankful for america's birthday because i was able to have a 3 day weekend! (it's also my brother's birthday.) on thursday i had dinner with shawna at casa garcia's, which was fun, then i just went home. i went to the gym on friday and decided to go to the mall. i am still looking for a shirt for our engagement pictures. we're doing 2 sets and i have one outfit but not the "casual" one. i left the mall with underwear, a makeup bag and a shirt for chris. what a disappointment and i was there for almost 4 hours. i went home and my mom had some friends over and she had made some really good bbq, so i ate and then we went to watch fireworks...lol, down the street actually. there is a perfect place about 20 steps from my parent's house to sit and watch every fireworks show that goes off over the lake so that was fun.

saturday i woke up with an awful headache so i went back to sleep to make it go away and then rushed to get ready b/c my mom wanted to run errands. so i did that, i found a shirt i sort of liked but when i went home to try it on again i hated it. boo. anyway, i went to dinner with kelli at olive garden and we went shopping and i found about 3 shirts i loved but they didn't have my size, so i am going to try another kohls this week. then we rented juno since she hadn't seen it.

sunday, i went to get my oil changed and then went with my dad and niece, calin, (who is visiting) to see the indiana jones movie (she wouldn't see wall-e or get smart), then we went to sonic. after that i took her to get our nails done and then we just went back home. my mom told me to clean the garage and get my stuff together that would need to be packed an di was so confused b/c i already did that. whatever. i went swimming and then cleaned my room up and have been watching the 1st season of grey's and tried to fall asleep. i'm just so excited chris is going to be here soon!! :) 3 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! plus my boss said i could take more time off if i needed to so that was nice, so far i'm taking 2 days and one half day and probably extended lunches, haha.

so this morning, i met my trainer at the track (we do this once a week) and he made me pull him across the football field and i don't mean the short part, i mean end to end - touchdown style. i hate him sometimes.

i'm meeting for flowers today - thank.goodness. i hope this is it. i've heard good things about them so if the price is right, they've got my business.

anyway!
