"you were so blind to let me go"--mariah carey
so this week was mostly pretty crappy. i can't really explain it but i was unusually frustrated with pretty much everything. finally the week turned around yesterday and we are ending friday with a bang! basically...because it's friday...and i have accomplished several things for the wedding and work is busy and it's good. it makes me feel important. haha.
things i have done this week:
1. gone to the gym 4x, 3 of those were with my trainer at 630am. i also have a new meal plan, it's not that bad, i can eat carbs haha...i can also eat most what i want on the weekends with "strict portion control" - luncheons and weddings here i come! yay! only 7 more weeks to go! (thanks economic stimulus check...speaking of..where ARE you? haha - j/k i'm supposed to get it next week)

2. bought the new gavin degraw cd, i loved him when he first came out 5 or 6 years ago? i would give it about a B-? maybe a B, i have to skip through about 3 songs, but i think the majority of his songs are good. sometimes his lyrics can be amazing and other times...not so much. why are you singing about taking our kids off ritalin and in the next song about how we belong together. oh well - i can still be found singing through most of the cd.
3. i paid our deposit for the videographer. we are using wild parrot. i'm pretty excited and i didn't even care that much about a videographer lol (thanks mom!)
4. i got a day of wedding coordinator - deposit to be sent shortly. i am really glad that i choose this battle and won it. i just really want the moms and myself to have a stress-free day. i understand that can happen without a coordinator but i would prefer not to find out.
5. i chose a dress for the bridesmaids. after going to SA and a lady telling me it was discontinued, i was a little crushed, it was just flattering on amy and rosie. i came here to austin and searched at belle saison for a totally different dress when lo and behold, there was the original, not looking discontinued. so my mom and i went to this other bridesmaid place and we haggled the lady down on the price and cheap alterations. we win! here is the dress! it will be exactly this: which is chocolate and blush.
6. i started talking to ceremony musicians. basically i need someone to play the songs i want to walk down the aisle to on the piano well. i'm also debating strings, because i love how they sound and i think my songs would sound better that way but it's a budget thing so we'll see what happens.
