"everybody, clap your hands"--good charlotte
so i had a pretty relaxing weekend. and considering i will be pretty MIA for awhile, i figured i should blog tonight.
friday i went home and ate a little something with my parents and watched no country for old men. who knew javier could be so creepy? he's the type of villan you hope you don't see in your dreams. creepy. anyway i didn't watch all of it but i liked what i DID see. after that, i met amy and this guy she knows at mikado for a late dinner. i only had one roll and some soup since i had had a pre-dinner haha. it was fun and her friend was nice enough to buy our dinner. awesome.
on saturday, i redeemed my birthday present from my parents which was a spa day. i had a 90 min massage and then went to get a facial (best.thing.ever.) and a mani/pedi. my toes are pretty in pink now, my nails seem healthy and my face is glowing. it was so relaxing! much needed after 3 months of hard core wedding planning. i think i may have to do that again in another 3-4 months haha. after that, i just went home, showered and took a nap. then i got ready and met kelli and her sisters and bethany for dinner at chuys. we had to wait so long b/c of sxsw and i don't think we even sat down and ate for longer than we waited. boo. anyway that was fun and that was pretty late too so i just went home afterwards.
sunday i woke up, and had to run errands all day and all over town. i returned something, as well as bought a flowergirl dress for my niece. my mom and i refuse to pay $100 for a little girl's dress when it is easter and they have such cute pink dresses out right now! look out for easter sales! haha. this one was only $30 though and it's very cute. then i had to pick up some stuff from a girl that was selling some stuff for the wedding which was helpful, but that was down south, then i had to go north to try and find a bathing suit and also see chris' parents to pick up some papers i need to take him and also just say hi :). then i came home and my mom made a mini-easter dinner and then i just hung out and did laundry and packed. yes. i packed entirely for my trip tomorrow. everyone should be proud. usually i'm up forever the night before or day off still packing but i am really prepared! also it's like summer there and summer clothes take up less room than winter things so i can overpack and not realize it! yay! :) (this just means more outfits, not more weight necessarily)
anyway today i have just been getting caught up on work. nothing too festive going on for st. pattys day here at the office. i am about to head out to go get last minute things from target and then going home to eat something and then heading on out to meet the hellrazrs and co.

ps. i am headed to bahrain tomorrow!!!!!!!!! i cannot wait to see chris!!! and see the middle east! i haven't been back in over 10 years and i can't wait to see what i missed! i'm a little afraid i won't want to come back ;) haha
