"i told you so"--carrie underwood
so here we go:
american idol boys, down to the top 10. i heard they weren't very good tonight, but we'll see.
it's 70s theme night
first off:
michael johns - "you can go your own way" - one of my favs so far in the competition - apparently he's a really great tennis player. ok andy roddick. tonight however, he was all over the place and shaky. boo. but i'd rather see him in the top 12 than other boys.
jason castro - "be your everything" (?) is apparently a big dork and he's back with his guitar. in any case, also a favorite, not tonight. boo boys so far. paula is also apparently wasted.
luke menard - "killer queen", thank you for ruining one of my top 10 favorite songs. go home immediately. i can't believe randy liked it..whatever
robbie caricao - "hot blooded", i don't even know what to say tonight. no one is doing anything worth mentioning. next?
danny noreiga - umm it's a carpenters song i don't remember the title "don't you remember you told me you loved me baby" or whatever. well it's not amazing but what a step up from last week for him and it wasn't awful to listen to.
david hernandez - "papa was a rolling stone", i am in a rush b/c i want to watch quarterlife, the new show that i feel is about my life, so i just fast forwarded this guy. but apparently they loved him?
jason yeager - "without love, where would you be now"(?), well it's more upbeat than last week, i'll give him that.
chikezie - i have no idea what song he sang.
david cook - "alright now" (?) yay he likes crossword puzzles, my other favorite :), i really could care less what this guy sings, he may be my new "chris daughtry". i could see him making it whether or not he wins, and my 2 cents are that he probably won't win. loves.it. simon just told him he had no charisma...except the entire audience was jumping up and down
david archuleta - "imagine", he was one of those "i was 11 when AI first started kids". in any case, he is very good. i will give him props def this week. i almost cried. it was amazing.
i also watched quarterlife, what a disappointment. but i always give new shows 2 chances, so i'll watch again on sunday.
i also had dinner with shawna, colleen and vincent last night for another birthday celebration at vivo. it was so good! i love that place AND we get roses AND we got free dessert! thanks guys for coming out! i had so much fun! heart y'all!
tonight i'm having dinner with chris' family for birthday dinner #3, operation: gain 10lbs for birthday obviously. anyway i'm excited about that too.
also, i got some really exciting news at work which i can't reveal yet just for work's sake (it's not what you guys are thinking, it actually has nothing to do with saudi lol), in any case, it means good things. i'll let you guys in on the news next week sometime.
anyway hope you have a great wednesday!!! what a beautiful day! :)
