this week is the 80s theme! yay! my favorite music decade :) i should know ALL the songs this week! hopefully i won't be let down, although with the way things have been going...i will.
luke menard, "wake me up (before you go-go)" - he has such a weird voice, like it's more soprano slash alto, although with a wham! song, i guess that's what you need. anyway, i think things would be more fun if they dressed like they were in the 80s haha.
david archuleta, "another day in paradise" - first of all, let me be honest i wasn't a SUPER fan of him in the beginning of this whole thing, i mean i thought he was cute, and knew he was good but thought he was sort of overrated. but i just watched him play the piano and i thought he did a really GOOD job!
danny noriega, "tainted love" - well he's at the very least entertaining.
david hernandez, "it's all coming back to me now" - i fast forwarded through him last week and now i think he's kind of shaky sounding. also, haha he used to be a stripper. the judges seem to be ok with him. oh well.
michael johns, "don't you forget about me" - now i like this guy pretty well, although i just realized how much i don't like how he grabs his mic. if you watch you'll know what i mean. anyway i love this song and i think he did well.
david cook, "hello" - rock version of the lionel richie version. hello, i love you. and yes you are my chris daughtry of this season. thank.goodness i have found another one! :)
jason castro, "hallelujah" - first of all he just told a gross story about his dreads, i wish he would just cut them off. secondly he has giving me chills right now and i can't tell if it's because this song always gives me chills or him!
chikezie, first of all this guy never sings songs i know. i can't even pretend to have ever heard this song! there is no doubt he has a decent voice but i really dont' care.
i would love for all the davids, michael johns and jason castro to be in the top 6 and as long as luke goes home on thursday i will be totally fine with whoever gets that 6th spot.
things i have done which make me feel good and hopefully i will help leave the country in good hands: *i voted yesterday!! (for both the primaries AND american idol...i was more excited about the primaries, so i think that means i'm sort of an adult now)

chris finally got his internet all set up in his apartment! (he has been using his internet at work and calling me from his work and cell phone) this means he has vonage now and can plug in a phone into his computer and has an austin number!! which means it's now free to talk to him!!! :) also, i see him in less than 2 weeks! time has flown by! and i can't wait...i guess this means i should start packing!! :)
