So I had a really good weekend and very proud of myself for getting some big things out of the way.

On Friday, after work, I met my mom at the mall so we could do xmas shopping...in reality this means "merry christmas to us" and we end up buying things for us... we did about 50/50 this time. I returned some shirts and I got a sweater dress to wear at Christmas (but it's cream, not green) and I don't have those super cool boots.

I also bought Shea's birthday present (Yes, her bday was last month but i won't see her til Saturday) and that's about it.

On Saturday, I woke up late because I had a headache, and I had good intentions of doing wedding stuff all day, but Amy had called me the night before and said she was going to go out with this guy and his friends so I cleaned out my closet and then took a nap (yes I know...my head was killing me), and then met her at Trudy's... After that, I googled the Baylor score (I had seen it at Trudy's that we were winning and WE BEAT A&M! I'm sure A&M isn't that great this year - but I don't really care. I'm a loyal fan, I'll be ready when they actually have a decent season, even if it means I have to wait until my kids are in college). Then, I met Kelli for dinner at Carrabba's went to the Domain so I could pick up a gift for Chris' mom that I knew she wanted. We also passed by the VS 7 for $25 panty sale and although I promised I wouldn't buy anything for myself with my next 2 paychecks, I had just cleaned out my closet and was in need for undergarments...so oops. Whatever. We also stopped by Macy's, who knew Jessica Simpson could make a decent perfume? Hello - christmas list.

Sunday I intended to take the programs to get printed and take passport pictures, but I ran out of time. Kelli came over to help me with wedding stuff (i.e.bubbles) and I worked on the table numbers, and they are all done! I was debating on posting a pic but I am really happy with them so I will. They are done by years with pictures of us. (You can see that 1981 is actually a picture of my mom pregnant with me since I wasn't born until 1982 ;) clever, huh?)Then I went over to Chris' parents house to see the birdcage his mom worked on, which is really pretty and I'm glad someone else did that, lol. Then came home and finished the table numbers. We have about 95% of our RSVPs in and I'm very happy with the final number, it's not small but it's not going to overflow the room - even if randoms show up - so yay! All I have left is to take the programs to get printed and print place cards!

Today, I met with our wedding coordinator and got the itinerary taken care of, between her and the Omni coordinator I'm not worrying about a thing, I'm pretty sure it was the best money I spent! I meet with the Omni coordinator on Wednesday to go over any last minute things and most everything should be done.

So every Monday we have meetings with our team - today was my last one, obvs and it was kind of sad, my boss and our big boss both said really nice things and I almost cried. :( (Chris told me I should stay til after Christmas then if I was so sad, which I politely and firmly refused lol) I am so absolutely ready for the time off. When else will I get this 3 month time off?...never. Until we are retired which means 30+ years - yay!

I have a very busy week ahead: doctor appts and coordinator meetings, a dentist appt and now defensive driving tonight and tomorrow (yes I got a ticket a few weeks ago - and so did my mom, so we're taking it together...as if I had nothing better to do) Chris also has a very busy week ahead, he will be in 5 countries in the next 9 days! He flies to Paris tomorrow night and then comes back Friday night to come back to Saudi and then fly to Dubai to come here and comes home NEXT wednesday!!!!!!! We are both super excited! No more distance! Best. thing. ever. :)

peace!
