"i will be the one who loves you, 'til the end of time"--george michael
hey hey
well i really am lacking in the whole, 'i have an exciting life to talk about' bit, but we'll see if i can come up with anything good.
to start off, as you may have noticed i am a little disheartened with the whole dog search. i am of course, off to the shelter at lunch to see if any new dogs have come in. i used to think they'd think i was weird for going everyday, but it just makes me look really serious about finding a dog, and i don't really care. whatever. i got an IM from an old sorority sister saying she found a stray dog, and he was cute. the only thing obviously is figuring out if he is a small dog and will stay one. hmmm....
last night, i was returning a blanket at target and then proceeded to buy windshield wiper fluid, when i realized, i had to go to the grocery store and this was a super target, and it was a "one stop shop" if you will. i had the great idea to figure out how to make pasta alfredo (i don't say fettucine because i used bowtie pasta) i got the sauce stuff, pasta, broccoli and chicken. i was ready. usually when i attempt to cook i visualize and time everything so the meal can be done at the right time. i really thought i had done that with this meal, but i don't think i did. the sauce was sort of lumpy still no matter how much i wisked it, and i didn' tmake enough chicken, but too much pasta...le sigh. needless to say, i ate it, and i ate it for a few reasons. 1. i was hungry 2. i MADE it and 3. because it was actually decent (don't worry about the sauce) i had so much left over that i thought, 'oh i can bring that in for lunch tomorrow'....yeah, sure sirena, only if you REMEMBER it! boo, i forgot it. i don't think i can go out again. i was trying to save some money for this coming weekend. whatever.
so today is an exciting day! i get my new couch and my breakfast table! :) yay. i tried to clean the house a little so my parents wouldn't go crazy...but i'm sure they will, because they are my parents. and let me tell you, i'm sure my neighbors are going crazy. my yard is. ridiculous....apparently i have weeds, which have blossomed into a lovely LARGE patch of bushes...it's gross and i know nothing about gardening so i don't know what to do with them. i'm trying to find someone i can pay to take care of it for me. the problem is not the grass, but that i have all these nasty ass weeds. boo. anyone know of any [cheap] lawn people in austin? i'm such a baylor girl. "who can i PAY to do this for me?" ...or is that just a girl in general? i can't decide.
i wish i was in a better mood: in 2 days i get to be in waco and spend time with some of my favorite people!! the problem is that yesterday,...i thought it was thursday, and now i'm bummed because it's only wednesday :(. le sigh.
at least i get to see the dogs today, and i'm wearing my new cute, comfy boots...and i'm listening me some good george michael ;)
