yesterday was one of the slowest days ever. since tuesday i thought it was thursday, so yesterday SHOULD have been friday, but alas, it was only wednesday. i was bummed about it for the majority of the day. work is going well. i have constant projects to work on, but it's good. just at the end of the day i feel like i'm not accomplishing anything, it's kind of a bummer.
they delivered my breakfast table yesterday, it is soooo beautiful!! as well as the 'baker's rack' which is kind of crammed in. so i have to figure another place to put it. what the hell do you put on a baker's rack, sure there's a built in wine rack, but what else? whatever. rooms-to-go once again was late delivering my sofa, so i sent my dad home, came home, and made dinner and waited for them. finally they showed up around 7:15 and i made sure to check every inch of that damn couch. they tried to rush me, but oh NO! you better step off jerk! whatever. after they left, i went shopping :) yay.
i went to the mall and Express is having this great sale on jeans which means that i can get 2 pair for basically $90. is that a sale? i can't decide. anyway, the jeans i liked they didn't have my size, so i didn't buy anything. i went to american eagle and the Gap too, but nothing (which is probably better) . it feels so christmas-y in the mall, it's great! :) *heart* i love the holiday seasons...soon i can start playing christmas music! i guess i should think about ripping my christmas cds soon. anyways, then i went to Ross, where i found a really cute black sweater thing and a black top, perfect for work and other events. that's good. back home, to where i started watching the shining! it is my absolute favorite scary movie!!! jack nicholson is sooo creepy in it, and shelley duval plays the perfect annoying wife (hell if i were jack i might have tried to kill her too! boo!) it's just crazy! love it! i didn't get to finish it b/c i was falling asleep, but that's ok. there's still tonight! :)
so halloween is literally around the corner. so that's neat. i don't have a costume or anything crazy, no parties to attend to. i guess i'll be the neighbor that gives out crappy candy to the little kids who come around. i've never really done that, so that might be fun :) this weekend should be fun! it's homecoming and i'll be catching up with the singletons on friday night and seeing KXA rock in Pigskin. saturday should include tailgating for the game i'm not planning on attending, and going to the bookstore...for sure...anything else? beer? i don't know. whatever.
