so i know i haven't really been updating, and i usually don't update too much anymore. but i had a really fun weekend and i just wanted to write about it. chris came in late thurs night and i made dinner and we sat at my porch table and drank wine...also discovering a wasp nest, BOO! so i have to get some spray to take care of it. so gross.
on friday, i just worked (obvs) and then met my parents and chris at county line for dinner since it was my dad's birthday! he is the big 7-0! after dinner, i went with chris to see his parents and then he went to pick up his friend, seif, at the airport and i went home to get some clothes and stuff. i came back, met his friend, and then we went to cru and had some wine. after that we wanted to show seif 6th street, and on the way i saw the bachelor (or his twin?...again, we saw him last weekend walking down the street when we were eating at kenichi for shawna & sharla's bday...i figured out he was walking to and this time from the marq, the other club they own? whatever.)
saturday we had to wake up early because his parents had rented a boat, so we went on the lake on what (besides today) was probably the last warm day of the year, it was so much fun! i didn't even know you could rent boats, but whatever. we were out for a few hours, then went back to their house and showered and then chris, seif and i went to the mall. i let them go run some "errands" while i shopped. i got 2 new shirts and a pair of comfy pants at express for like $35, best. sale. ever. all of their stuff was 30% off on top of stuff on sale. i also had a coupon for victoria's secret so i bought a new strapless bra (again), i lost my original one and hate the new one i bought, but this one seems like it'll be better. i also got some new makeup, woo. we ate lunch at california pizza kitchen, which was good. when we were leaving, i saw this guy sitting in a booth, that looked familiar and it turned out to be bobby bones. he was eating with softball ricky. awesome. after the mall, we just went back to chris' parents house and hung out, then got ready to go eat dinner with his parents, at eddie v's. i'd never been there before, but it was sooo good! and i got to dress up which was even more exciting. i really adore his parents, they are so awesome. after dinner, against seif's wishes, we went downtown for maybe an hour to one-2-one? they just opened their rooftop bar and it was cool. after that seif looked like he might kill us, lol, so we went back home, on the walk back to the car, right in front of the marq, i saw bobby bones, AGAIN! lol. i just had all sorts of E-list celebrity sightings this weekend.
then today i woke up and went home, showered, had some down time and went back over to chris' parents house for some last minute QT, then sent him and seif on their way and just came back home. enjoying my sunday just like i like it, catching up on last week's tv and esp tonight watching the red sox game. GO SOX! loves. it. i know it doesn't sound like anything especially exciting went on this weekend, and i know it's cheesy, but i just really love my bf. he is just incredibly sweet to me. :) oh also, i might get to go to tokyo next october...seif just got engaged and his fiancee lives in japan, holla! lol
anyway, this week is just full of work, some running and apparently some AWESOME weather. it's going to be "cold" tomorrow, haha. in the 60s! i can't wait to wear a sweater!! friday i'm going to oklahoma to see chris, we're going to the fall out boy concert (woo!) and i think saturday to kansas and by my dad's hometown, haha. we are extremely exciting, i know. anyway thats it, hope you have a good week everyone and you had a great weekend!
