wow, i have been unbelievably behind on this...

right now the big boss is here, and we are eating lunch at our desks, so i thought i'd take this quiet moment to write a little bit about what's been going on.

this past weekend i went to oklahoma for the last time (i say that pretty certainly...unless i have to go see one of my dad's relatives or something), and it was really really fun! i got off the plane on friday and chris of course was waiting for me, and told me that our dinner reservations (?!) were at 845, to which of course i freaked out, i had skipped lunch that day and had one bag of sun chips on the plane, but i stayed calm, he assured me we'd have a snack before we ate. so we went to the apt, then forgot to get wine, so went back out, got some wine and drank some with his sister, then we decided to go to the hot tub and came back and got ready for dinner (we had pushed the dinner back to 915...i'm not really sure why, but oh well). i was really excited b/c i had just bought a new dress and i wanted to wear it somewhere nice! (obvs a place with dinner reservations was going to be perfect)

we ate dinner at this place called deep fork something lol. it was really good! there was also someone's 21st bday going on so there were all these girls in ridiculous party dresses like it was prom so i spent a lot of time judging them and their red hooker shoes and plastic heels. i can't help it. anyway, great food, good company :) after that we went to pick up amy (chris' sister) to go to bin 73 (our fav wine bar) for the last time, but when we got there it was apparnetly someone's birthday and the place was loud and packed, boo! so we found another place, which was barely open, but empty and quiet. we hung out and talked for awhile and then went home.

on saturday, we woke up, and chris and i went to get breakfast, i didn't even eat a lot but felt really full, so we took a nice walk around the mall. i saw a really cute dress i want at express :). after that, we went back and got ready and chris surprised me with tailgate tickets and better seats than we paid for, for the baylor v. OU game. we got to campus and he showed me aroudn his building and then we went tailgating. it was awesome, they basically just hire like 25 food vendors and everything (incl. beer) is free...(hi shawna, diet, what? as well for me). so we spent a lot of time in there and finally made it to the game. our suites were right underneath the box seats and luckily on the baylor side (all 10 people who showed up). it was a decent game, baylor even scored and i got to jump up and yell a lot, the people around us were really nice about it, haha. (i'm sure they felt sorry for me) we left around the 3rd quarter when OU just kept scoring, boo. but we went to meet up with amy and her friends for a little birthday party for her. we got kicked out when a band started to play b/c even though we ran up a pretty hefty tab, they still wanted us to pay to see the band. whatever. so chris and i just went home.

sunday was kind of a blur, express jet decided to change the time of the flight a few weeks ago from 5.15 to 2.55, boo! so we woke up kind of late and went to eat lunch with amy and then i came back and hurried to get ready and the chris took me to the airport. anyway, the flight was good. i got back and lbo was going to be at the airport dropping off her friend, so i met them and then went to dinner with lbo before she headed back to waco. then i just came home, cleaned up my room, unpacked, caught up on tv and watched the devil wears prada (i'm reading the book right now.)

anyway, colleen, shawna and i are sort of doing "the biggest loser" weight watchers style, for the next 3 months. i don't know about you girls, but i will probably suck this week at weigh-in. lol. i didn't do TOO bad this weekend, but i just had chili's with the work peeps and going to eat cheesecake factory for dinner. (a piece of cheesecake is like 2 days worth of points apparently) oh well. 2 months + 3.5 weeks to go haha.
