ok first things first:
MY DRESS IS IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The lady who does alterations is on vacation now but I insisted I come in on Saturday to just try it on! I.AM.SO.EXCITED. Besides December, I'm pretty sure August has been the height of wedding planning...I guess it's all downhill from here? haha.
So all I've been up to lately is shopping and watching the Olympics. I really only like watching swimming, diving and gymnastics (female). Other than that, I could care less, luckily I've been home when all of these things have been on. yay.
Anyway, there have been plenty of requests for my most favorite engagement pictures. I, of course can't pick just one, but I'll try to keep it to some of my favorite 5 (i have about 50 so...). (And I don't see the point of posting my least favorites, obviously people can tell when my or Chris' eyes are 'wasted' or we look too sweaty or things are awkward, no need for me to point them out) Look for our engagement announcement in the paper soon ;) (If you are in Austin of course...and you read the paper...)
I think this will probably be our engagement picture for the paper, it's cute and casual.
I love the "artsy"ness of this picture, the photog made us stop and take pictures b/c of the shadows and I love it. My feet were killing me and we were so hot, but I love it.
I love how "candid" this picture is, even though Chris is looking at the camera. I feel like this kind of explains our relationship. He makes me smile and laugh all the time. This picture just makes me happy.
I love all of these pictures in front of CRU, the light is absolutely amazing.
It was Chris' idea that we take a picture next to the State of Texas seal, I mean really, we were both born here, why not? ;)
anyway, I'd love to hear your opinions on your favorites (I think Steph and Sharla already made notes). I am just so excited we got them back! :)
